The celebration of love in Boracay does not just end after February 14. A lot of resorts and restaurants in the island still offer post-Valentine’s promos this week.
Hotel and resort deals
A free romantic dinner for two is offered by 7 Stones Boracay as part of their “Love Month Package.” The package requires a minimum 3-night stay at their Junior Suite and Deluxe Suite. The triple AAA beach resort is located in Bulabog, fronting the famous beach for kitesurfers.

For longer stays, Boracay Beach Club’s 4-day or 7-day escapade package for two is good. The package includes a deluxe accommodation, sunset cruise, and banana boat ride among others. BBC is located in Station 1, across Ariel’s House.

New places to eat
Famous chains in Manila are now in Boracay too.
Italianni’s Restaurant, famous for its Sicillian Chicken Salad, Grilled Pork Chop Au Poivre, and Spinach Artichoke Formaggio, among others, is now at the beachfront in Station 1. The basil herb is a token of love for Italians, so check their menu for basil-laden dishes good for sharing. The restaurant just opened last January 16.

For a menu of American fare, TGI Fridays is now open along Station 1. Located just beside Nandana Boracay Resort, the restaurant and bar operates from 11 AM to 11 PM daily. They offer unlimited mojito for Php345.

La Cozina, a newly opened Mexican restaurant also in Station 1, offers free Churros for a minimum order of Php800. The restaurant is located at the ground floor of Zuzuni Boutique Hotel, occupied before by Zuzuni Restaurant.

Budbud meals—rice topped with fried meat, egg, and meat rolls on the side—is one of the local favorites in Boracay offered by Kolai Mangyan. They offer Budbud Pork, Budbud Beef, Budbud All-Mix, and the must-try Budbud Special which has extra kikiam, squid balls, and more meat. The restaurant formerly located in Station 1 is now along the main road in Station 2, with a bigger space.

Sale and discount alert
Island Surf Wear in D’Mall is having an inventory sale. They offer 30 to 80 percent discount on dresses, bikinis, and other beach wear.

From 10 AM to 2 PM and from 10 PM to 2 AM, burgers at Johnny Rockets, located in Station 2 are on discounted prices. On regular hours, their burgers are priced at PhpP159 on Monday to Thursday and PhpP195 on Friday to Sunday.
It will also be another busy week in the island for it will host the “77th National Convention of the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers, Inc.” The event will be held at Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Convention Center from February 17 to 20.
