This Week in Northern Metro Manila (April 3 to 9, 2016)

The Lost Bread is one of the most famous dessert bars located in Maginhawa Street, UP Village, Quezon City. They are known for serving milkshakes and French toasts of gigantic proportions. The latest addition to their menu, Blue Vanilla Soft Serve, is expected to join the ranks of “Carnival,” the store’s most popular concoction made of butter cake-flavored milkshake topped with cotton candy. Prices are affordable at only PhP99 per serving.

Gringo's is a new casual dining restaurant that offers finger-licking baby back ribs and chicken. This Tex-Mex restaurant has opened its branch just this April 1 at the Ground Floor of the Block, SM North Edsa.

With the graduation season in full swing, Four Seasons Buffet & Hotpot gives graduates free buffet for lunch and dinner, any day of the week, and even on holidays. The promo is available for 2016 graduates who will be accompanied by three paying adults. Buffet rates are PhP688 for adult weekday lunch and PhP888 for adult weekends/holiday lunch and dinner. In time for the Araw ng Kagitingan or Bataan Day on April 9, a marathon spanning 3.2 km (2 mi), 5 km, and 10 km, will be held at DMST Complex, UP Diliman Campus, Quezon City. On its fifth year, this event called Dash 2016: Kagitingan Run has added free after-run activities in the program such as rappeling course, marksmanship, and stress firing.
