Session Road is the city’s commercial center where shopping, dining, and business actions occur. It is on Session Road where you can experience the local life and also where you will find the Baguio Public Market. People frequent pasalubong shopping, particularly strawberry jam, fresh vegetables, peanut brittle, coffee beans, fresh flowers, handicrafts, or other souvenirs.
Burnham Park is a 32.84-hectare urban park, a favorite spot for locals and tourists for its design and numerous amenities. It has a man-made lake where guests can hire rowboats, a children's playground, a skating rink, a rose garden, and a picnic grove.

If you want to experience the rich culture of Baguio, you can stay at Hotel Veniz. According to some historical accounts, this affordable hotel in Baguio is at the heart of Baguio City in the original city plan created by Daniel Burnham, an American architect and urban planner commissioned in 1909 to develop a resort for American soldiers stationed at Baguio City at that time. Ina Mansion is a 3- to 5-minute walk from Session Road and Baguio Public Market, just behind Burnham Park. It is a condo-type building that offers long-term accommodation. Their monthly rate for studio-type rooms is PhP12,000, exclusive of condominium dues, electricity, water, and other utilities.
Nevertheless, the overnight rate of Ina Mansion for standard units is only PhP1,250, inclusive of a private toilet and bath with a hot shower, kitchenware, and cable TV. PhP120 will be charged for every hour exceeding the check-out time.

Baguio City can be reached from Manila by land transportation. It will usually take 5 to 6 hours of nighttime travel or 5 to 7 hours of a daytime trip by bus. Examples of famous bus lines with Baguio trips are Victory Liner and Genesis. Both have terminals in Cubao, Quezon City, while their Baguio stations are located in Gov. Pack Road, Baguio City. Hotel 45 Extension is located right in front of SM City Baguio. It takes 5 minutes to walk from Victory Liner terminal to Hotel 45 and 3 minutes via taxi. The hotel’s rates start at PhP1,050 per night, including complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi access, one cable TV, and a bathroom with a heater. Every room has a telephone that allows guests to call the receptionist for room service, food delivery, and other needs. Besides the reception area, Hotel 45 Extension has a cafeteria that serves food and beverages.
