P2P buses move to Centris Station.

Starting today, July 15, the P2P Premium Bus Services will be moving to Centris Station, located along Quezon Ave. MRT Station from their previous location along Eton Centris. The first trip will start at 5:00 AM from Centris Station and 5:45 AM from Glorietta 5 while the last trip will end at 9:45 PM from Centris Station and 10:30 PM from Glorietta 5.

The terminal at Eton Centris was originally intended to decongest their current stations in Trinoma and SM North. This transfer to the new location marks the beginning of the transition period of moving their entire fleet completely from the said malls to Centris station.

The increasing terminal fees of Trinoma and SM North forced Froehlich Tours Inc., the company that manages P2P, to make the decision to find a new terminal for their buses to keep their fare affordable to the masses. However, there is no news yet as to when they will cease the operations in the said malls.

P2P Premium Bus Service is a government initiative to provide point to point bus services to certain areas in Metro Manila. The project aims to ease the traffic along EDSA by providing a more efficient and comfortable transportation alternative to commuters.

Right now, P2P has eight existing routes: Trinoma/Centris to Glorietta 5; Robinsons Galleria to Park Square Makati; Alabang Town Center to Greenbelt 1; SM North EDSA to SM Megamall; Fairview to Makati; Alabang to Ortigas; Starmall Alabang-Vista Mall Daang Hari, Bacoor; and Starmall Alabang-Dasmariñas.
