Got plans to check in at a hotel for some rest and relaxation? You don’t have to stay in your room the entire time! After chilling inside and dining, why not maximize your visit by watching singers and bands perform? Here’s a list of can’t-miss artists who are set to perform at major hotels and casinos in Metro Manila in the coming months.


WHAT: An Evening with Pilita

Where: Solaire Hotel and Casino
When: November 10

It seems like age is not stopping OPM legend Pilita Corrales as she is set to perform for a one-night-only concert on November 10 at The Theater at Solaire Hotel and Casino. Fans can watch the singer-actress as she belts out her classics such as “Kapantay ay Langit” (As Vast as the Heavens), “Saksi ang Altar” (The Altar is a Witness), and “Tungod sa Awit” (By Song).

Pilita began her career in 1957, and she is now celebrating 60 years in the industry. She is known for performing songs in various languages like Spanish, English, Cebuano, and Tagalog.


Ticket Prices: PhP1,000 for Zone 6 seats, PhP1,500 for Zone 5, PhP2,500 for Zone 4, PhP3,500 for Zone 3, PhP4,500 for Zone 2, and PhP5,500 for Zone 1 seats. Tickets are available at the Ticketnet website.

How to get to Sofitel Manila: Sofitel Manila is near the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex at Pasay City. To get to Sofitel, ride the Light Railway Transit (LRT)-Line 1 and get off at Vito Cruz. Then, walk along Pablo Ocampo Street towards Citiland Tower , University Mall , and Rizal Memorial Basketball Coliseum opposing Jollibee. Keep walking until you spot a terminal of jeepneys going to CCP. This is located near Torre Lorenzo Residences . Ride the jeepney heading to CCP, and ask the driver to stop at Sofitel. The fare is PhP7.00.


WHAT: Prima Jona

Where: Solaire Hotel and Casino
When: November 11

Jona, better known as Jonalyn Viray, also currently belongs to a trio called La Diva.


Now hailed as one of the most powerful voices in the music industry, Jona gained popularity when she won the singing contest Pinoy Pop Superstar in 2005. After the success of her Queen of the Night concert last year, she is set to perform in another show, this time at The Theater located inside Solaire Hotel and Casino on November 11. She will be accompanied by the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra as she sings her popular songs “Maghihintay Ako” (I Will Wait), “Help Me Get Over,” and “I’ll Never Love This Way Again.”

Ticket Prices: PhP1,000 for Balcony B seats, PhP1,500 for Balcony A, PhP2,500 for Patron, PhP3,500 for VIP, PhP4,500 for SVIP, and PhP5,000 for SSVIP seats. Tickets are available at the Ticket World website.

How to get to Solaire Hotel and Casino: To get to Solaire, take the Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT)-Line 3 and alight at Taft Avenue Station. Proceed to the jeepney terminal located below the station and ride a jeepney heading to the SM Mall of Asia (MOA). In MOA, wait for Solaire’s free shuttle located at the terminal front. Shuttle trips are available from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The Solaire shuttle also offers trips back to MOA.


WHAT: Tatak Rico J

Where: Solaire Hotel and Casino
When: December 02

Rico J is one of the icons in the Filipino music industry.


Original Pilipino Music (OPM) icon and pioneer Rico J Puno is responsible for some of the most memorable songs in Philippine music. During the span of his career, he produced the hits “Macho Gwapito” (Macho Chick Boy), “Magkasuyo Buong Gabi” (Sweethearts All Night), and “Sorry Na Pwede Ba?” (I’m Sorry, Okay?). In celebration of his 40th anniversary as an entertainer, he will grace the stage of The Theater at Solaire Hotel and Casino on December 2.

The show will be musically directed by Louie Ocampo and will feature surprise guests.


Ticket Prices: PhP1,000 for Zone 6 seats, PhP1,500 for Zone 5, PhP2,500 for Zone 4, PhP3,500 for Zone 3, Php 5,000 for Zone 2, and Php 7,500 for Zone 1 seats. Tickets are available at the Ticketworld website.

WHAT: Erykah Badu

Where: Sofitel Manila
When: October 14

Erykah Badu has a soulful voice that soothes the ears.


The Philippines is one of Grammy-winner Erykah Badu’s destinations for her “Badu Vs. Everythang” world tour. The show, which will be held at the Harbour Garden Tent in Sofitel Manila on October 14, is the neo soul and hip hop artist’s first in the country. Badu is known for the song “On and On,” which earned her first Grammy award.

Badu will perform at cities in USA, Paris, Switzerland, Tokyo, and Denmark. The Philippines is the only South East Asian country that is included in the tour. It is organized by Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival.


Ticket Prices: PhP4,500 for general admission, PhP6,500 for Silver seats, and PhP8,500 for Gold, while regular rates will start at PhP5,500 for general admission, PhP7,500 for Silver, and PhP9,500 for Gold seats.Tickets are available at Ticket Tailor’s website.

WHAT: Experience the Eagles

Where: Resorts World Manila
When: October 24

The Long Run is one of the best-known tribute bands of The Eagles.


Fans of The Eagles would have a nostalgic night at The Long Run’s show on October 24 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila as part of their “Experience The Eagles” world tour. They will be joined on stage by renowned Filipino boyband, The Boyfriends.

One of the most popular soft-rock bands in the world, The Eagles is known for the hits “I Can’t Tell You Why” and “Hotel California.” The Long Run is one of their most popular tribute bands.


Ticket Prices PhP 2,507.56 for Zone 5 seats, PhP 3,764.60 for Zone 4, PhP 4,732.64 for Zone 3, PhP 5,593.12 for Zone 2, and PhP 6,453.60 for Zone 1 seats. Tickets can be purchased at Ticket World outlets and website.

How to get to Resorts World Manila: To get to Resorts World, take the MRT-Line 3 and get off at Taft Avenue Station. Head towards the north-bound side of the station and go down the stairs. Turn left to the passageway near t a terminal of jeepneys going to CCP. This is located near McDonald’s and look for the white Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal (NAIA) 3 shuttle commuter bus. The fare for the shuttle is PhP20.


Tips in preparing for the event:


• Get tickets early as they may sell out.

• Don’t miss any part of the show by adjusting your travel time to take into consideration possible heavy traffic so you can arrive early or on time at the venue.

• Follow the event organizers or the performer on their social media websites to be updated on any changes regarding ticket prices or schedule.

• Double-check the dates and times of the events and your own schedule to see if you need to make adjustments.

• Check the rules and conditions of the venue (attire, food, payment, and etc.) so that you would not experience any inconvenience.

• The show would be more enjoyable with friends and family, so invite them for a great bonding time.
