A fun breather after the stress of contacting vendors, looking for wedding venues, and wedding preparation is the prenuptial shoot; it’s a great time for you and your partner to reconnect and enjoy, and it’ll also make you comfortable working with your photographer before the wedding. Bonifacio Global City or BGC is one of the biggest business hubs in the country, and one of the most instagrammable too! BGC can be also a great prenup venue in Manila, the city’s tall buildings, busy streets, and beautiful parks and greeneries can be a wonderful backdrop for your shoot. To make the day of your shoot stress-free, make sure to get a permit from Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBCD) as they require it for professional shoots. Even before it was featured in the movie, Paco Park has been a favorite wedding venue and a prenup location in Metro Manila for couples for its lush garden setting and old-world feel. Just imagine having the charming St. Pancratius Chapel to set the mood of your prenup shoot.



For your reference for your wedding photoshoot, Paco Park is under the management of the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) and it’s where you can also get a permit for your prenup shoot. A fee of PhP2000 is necessary, and an additional PhP500 is required if shooting with the fountain. A fee of PhP500 is imposed for succeeding hours, with an additional PhP500 for the electricity. Meanwhile, it is prohibited to shoot inside St. Pancratius Chapel

For you the third prenup location in Metro Manila, if you live near Quezon City or you and your partner went to school here together, you can have your prenup wedding photoshoot at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. Aside from the beautiful old buildings that abound in UP, it is also famous for its nature spots like the lagoon, the sunken garden, and the gorgeous sunflower field along University Avenue during graduation season, it can also be a great prenup venue in Manila.



If you consider this as one of your prenup venues in Manila to do your wedding photoshoot, to secure a permit, write a letter of request asking for permission to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs (OVCCA) stating the details of the shoot and other details. After paying the fee of PhP2,500, you’re good to go.


4. Star City

The amusements parks are the best option as a prenup location in Metro Manila if you want colorful lights, fun vibes, and hundreds of games and attractions that might just make your prenup wedding photoshoot more memorable. Interested couples can call Star City’s Sales and Marketing department for permits and the necessary fees to pay depending on the areas to be included in the prenup shoot.

Update (October 2019): Star City was hit by fire on October 2, 2019. The amusement park will be closed until October 2020.


5. Intramuros

One of the most famous prenup locations in Metro Manila for a prenup wedding photoshoot is probably Intramuros. You can relive your student days if this is your favorite tambayan during college or go ahead and wear a barong and Filipiniana for a totally Pinoy prenup—it’s up to you to make it unforgettable!


To secure a permit for your wedding photoshoot, you’ll need to fill out an Application for Non-Commercial Photo/Video Shoot form at the Intramuros Administration office and pay a fee of PhP2,000. A little heads up: you can only choose three out of six locations where you can shoot around Intramuros and shoot time is from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM only. These places include Casa Manila Patio, Plaza Moriones, Fort Santiago Gate, Puerta Real Gardens, Baluarte de San Diego, Baluarte de San Andres, and Baluarte de Dilao; couples will be informed where they are allowed when they go there.


6. Binondo

Couples are advised to check with the local government or with the establishments where the photoshoot will take place for permit requirements.

Another historic location in Manila that can be the setting for your prenup wedding photoshoot is the district of Binondo. Here, couples can dive into the busy streets of Binondo, take advantage of the old architectural marvels around the area to be your prenup location in Metro Manila, and have a food crawl at the end of the day. For budget-conscious couples who love nature, La Mesa Eco Park in Quezon City is a great option for your prenup location in Metro Manila. The park’s vast expanse filled with greeneries can give you and your beau plenty of space to pose, lie down, or run around for your shoot. You can also get creative and bring your own props to make your wedding photoshoot more personal.

Securing a permit at La Mesa Eco Park to be your prenup venue in Manila is easy. Just pay the necessary entrance fees and sign a waiver for the photo shoot before entering the park. Be ready as Eco Park is still a public park and you might need to find a good location for a crowd-free shoot.

Aside from public parks and spaces, restaurants and cafés can also be great locations for a prenup wedding photoshoot. One café that can help you if you're finding a prenup location in Metro Manila is Filling Station Bar Café in Makati. Filling Station is famous for its ‘50s-inspired interiors that can be a perfect setting for quirky or creative couples. If you’re a fan of Riverdale, you can dress up as Betty and Jughead and take advantage of the café’s neon lights and diner vibe in your wedding prenup photoshoot.

The fees for the stations vary. For stations 1, 2, & 3 (old wing) which is the area near the VIP lounge, the fee is PhP10,000 for 3 hours (inclusive of PhP3,000 net consumable for food and drinks); PhP2,000 per hour in excess. The allotted time for this location is from 6AM to 11AM.

If you consider this as one of your prenup venues in Manila, for station 4 (new wing), which is the area with the Cadillac, the fee is PhP20,000 for 3 hours (inclusive of PhP10,000 net consumable for food and drinks); there is a fee of PhP2,000 per hour in excess. The allotted time for this location is from 1PM to 5PM. For interested parties, the establishment recommends coordinating with its reservations manager.



9. Manila Yacht Club

The Manila Yacht Club, the country’s premiere, members-only yacht club, is a beautiful location that can also be a gorgeous set for a prenup wedding photoshoot. It’s also situated along Manila Bay, so you can have your wedding photoshoot in the afternoon and have the magnificent sunset serve as the backdrop of your shoot.

A gentle reminder if you consider this as one of your prenup locations in Metro Manila, that club members can shoot in yachts but non-members have to submit a letter of request to board members and they are restricted to Manila Yacht Club’s veranda, clubhouse, and yard. For inquiries, give their marina a call.


10. Heima Home & Lifestyle

One last prenup location in Metro Manila couples can consider for a fun prenup shoot is Heima Home & Lifestyle in Pasig. Heima is a décor and furniture store that houses unique and quirky pieces—a match for prenup wedding photoshoots of couples who are unique and quirky as well. You can dress up and practice being husband and wife with Heima’s cute items.

To book the entire store for your prenup venue in Manila, you’ll need to pay a fee of PhP2,000 on weekdays or PhP3,000 on Saturdays per hour, a minimum of two hours, plus PhP500 for electricity. Moreover, you can only have six people in your party.

Update (October 2019): Since 2017, Heima Home & Lifestyle has not been available for prenup shoots anymore.
