1. Station 15 Bar & Restaurant

Location: Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Tagaytay City
Operating hours: Sunday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM; Friday to Saturday, 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM

Station 15 Bar & Restaurant is a known clubbing destination in Tagaytay with its first branch located along Mahogany Avenue. Now, it is closer to the heart of the city with a new branch opening just this March along Aguinaldo Highway, inside the dining complex across Magallanes Square.

Station 15 is a casual dining place for afternoon snacks and dinner where you can enjoy Filipino and Western-inspired meals. At the new branch, your dining experience is complemented by the refreshing Tagaytay breeze and a view of Taal Volcano and Lake at the viewing deck right outside the restaurant. On Friday and Saturday nights, the restaurant usually holds live band and DJ performances. You can also enjoy bar games like bar darts, glow-in-the-dark beer pong, Drinko drop & drink, checker shots, and spin the shot.




2. Adverb Gastro Bar

Location: 2nd Floor, Robinson’s Summit Ridge Promenade, Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road, Maharlika West, Tagaytay City
Operating hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM; Friday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM

Adverb Gastro Bar has been shaking things up in Tagaytay's dining and nightlife scene since it opened. It fulfills two roles well: a family-friendly restaurant and a late-night bar for party animals.

From breakfast to dinner, Adverb Gastro Bar sees many families and groups of friends, people who delight in conversations while sharing the goodness of Filipino and Western meals. On Fridays and Saturdays past dinnertime, DJs and partygoers take over the place. The party usually starts after 9:00 PM.


3. Entrada

Location: Tagaytay Heights Subdivision, Mahogany Road, Barangay Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City

Entrada is a new family restaurant in Tagaytay that serves a wide array of comfort food, from local favorites with a twist in international dishes. The restaurant just opened along Mahogany Avenue, near Mahogany Market and Sky Ranch, in January this year.

Entrada makes local dishes more exciting by adding a unique twist, which is evident in dishes like creamy bulalo (beef shank soup), sizzling bulalo steak, and laing (spicy taro leaves in coconut milk) rolls. They also serve different kinds of pizza, pasta, and other meat and seafood dishes.


4. Dough Knead Café

Location: Tagaytay-Santa Rosa Road, Tagaytay City
Operating hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Dough Knead Café is a good place to unwind over a cup of coffee and some pastries and all-day breakfast meals.

Found along Tagaytay-Santa Rosa Road, near Tagaytay city market, Dough Knead Café is a brand new haven for coffee and dessert lovers. This café specializes in freshly baked cakes and pastries that are best paired with their coffee.

Their coffee and pastry pairings are priced reasonably; you can pair brewed coffee with a doughnut for only PhP100 or a muffin for PhP120. They also have Western-inspired rice meals, such as beer-battered fish fillet, chicken cordon bleu, and pot roast beef in tarragon sauce. Another interesting feature of Dough Knead Café is their Drive Thru where people on the go can easily get their fill.


5. Moderno Café & Restaurant

The people behind Lolo Claro's, a famous fried chicken restaurant in Cavite, has opened a new restaurant in Tagaytay that specializes in what most people crave for in this cold part of the province—bulalo (beef shank soup). Moderno Cafe and Restaurant, located on the ground floor of Magallanes Square Hotel, offers four versions of bulalo that takes every diner's palate to different parts of the Philippines.

Besides the classic Tagaytay bulalo, they serve bulalong pochero made with saba banana and tomato sauce, bulalo ng Sulu (Sulu, Mindanao style), which has a black color due to burnt coconut and spices, and bulalong Bisaya (Cebu, Visayas style), which uses a lot of pepper. Moderno Café and Restaurant is also famous for its peri-peri style chicken as well as other Filipino comfort food.


6. Kookay’s Food House

Location: 53 Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, KM 61, Barangay Mendez East, Tagaytay City

Everything in Kookay’s Food House is Instagrammable—even the food and drinks!

One look and Kookay's Food House will instantly make you crave for all things sweet and delightful. Every corner of the place is Instagrammable, filled with colorful pillows, stuffed toys, and cheeky decorations. This new themed restaurant and cafe opened in September last year.

The menu of Kookay's Food House seems to have been sprinkled with rainbows and glitters. From waffles and pasta dishes to desserts and milkshakes, many of the items are colorfully presented. They also offer all-day breakfast, hot pot, dim sum, and group meal packages. As you enjoy your meal, you can wear a onesie and snap photos for only PhP50.




7. The Barracks Food Camp

The Barracks Food Camp is a standout food park that opened along Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay last June 2017. Co-owned by actor Derek Ramsay, the food park has a military theme, although it is definitely not as rigid as a real military barracks. The atmosphere is brightened up by ambient lighting, green plants, and occasional live music.

The Barracks Food Camp houses 30 food stalls occupying two floors. The shops were thoughtfully curated to feature a variety of food and drinks. You can find different kinds of Filipino comfort food and street snacks, as well as many international dishes. Big groups and families will also enjoy a wide selection of boodle-fight meals with meat, seafood, and vegetables.


8. Rolando’s Tagaytay

Rolando’s in Tagaytay is a stylish modern place to enjoy Filipino comfort food such as crispy pata (deep fried pig trotters).

Situated across Magallanes Square along Aguinaldo Highway, Rolando's is a stylish restaurant that specializes in traditional and modern Filipino cuisine. The restaurant feels like a manor house with refined interiors and balcony seating. It offers a good place for families and groups to relish in Filipino comfort food while taking in the cool Tagaytay breeze.

The menu of Rolando's consists of a long list of well-loved Filipino dishes, from soups like bulalo and sinigang (sour soup) to fried and grilled meat and seafood. Rolando's only opened a year ago and yet it has already produced a spin-off: Food Haus by Rolando's, which opened in November 2017 in the same restaurant complex. It offers the same specialties of Rolando's but with more budget-friendly set meal options.


9. Bi Kyeong

Bi Kyeong is a newly opened hotel and restaurant along Aguinaldo Highway that offers its customers unobstructed views of Taal Volcano and Lake as they relax or dine. The restaurant is set up in a covered outdoor area so that every diner can enjoy the scenery.

Bi Kyeong is open to everyone, whether checked-in guests or not, who wants to have a taste of authentic Korean dishes like bibimbap (mixed rice) and samgyupsal (grilled pork). The restaurant offers unlimited Korean barbecue on weekdays at PhP499 and Korean buffet and unlimited barbecue on weekends at PhP549. Besides their Korean specialties, they also serve all-day breakfast meals and Filipino dishes.
