It feels like the year is on fast forward because, believe it or not, it is already the eight month of 2018! New Year passed us by, summer just flew by, the rainy season has come, and now there is only a month left before the holiday season starts again.
Times might be changing, but one thing remains the same: there are still tempting mall sales in Metro Manila to splurge on. From lipsticks, home items, and even books, there’s something to get excited about for everyone. Read on to know more about all the discounts you can get your hands on this August 2018.
1. The SM Store Lipstick Festival
When: July 26 to September 26, 2018
Where: All The SM Store branches nationwide
The festival has the hashtags #LipstickFestival2018 and #SMLipstickFest.

The SM Store is holding its annual Lipstick Festival where up to 50% off is available for many lipstick brands. Different promos from different brands are also happening during the entire duration of the festival. Some participating brands include BLK, Maybelline, Vice Cosmetics, Ever Bilena, and Happy Skin.
2. The SM Store’s Happy Home Sale
When: July 27 to September 2, 2018
Where: All The SM Store branches nationwide

As part of SM Malls’ #AweSM sales for their 60th year, The SM Store offers 20% off on all regular priced home items from selected brands. In addition to that, in this SM sale you can also get 50 to 70% off on special items to redesign your home!
3. Books for Less Warehouse Sale
When: August 1 to August 31, 2018
Where: Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Place Las Piñas, Forum Robinsons
The branch will be open every day for the duration of the sale.

Books for Less’ Pasig City branch will be having its annual warehouse sale where all books are priced at only PhP35. Some book genres that can be expected in the sale include self-help, healthcare, education, architecture, travel, political science, and much more.
4. Robinsons Malls’ #RedHotSale2018
When: August 15 to August 31, 2018
Where: Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Place Las Piñas, Forum Robinsons
A total of thirty-one Robinsons Malls nationwide are participating in the sale.

In partnership with Metrobank Card, Vivo, and radio station JAM 88.9, Robinsons will hold a sale where up to 50% of discounts will be given on selected items. The sale will run from August 15 to 31 in participating Robinsons Malls nationwide.
5. The Araneta Center Rainy Day Sale
When: August 17 to August 19, 2018
Where: Cubao, Quezon City
The Araneta Center has a total land area of 35 hectares.

The Araneta Center, which is comprised of Gateway Mall, Ali Mall, Farmer’s Plaza, and SM Cubao’s The SM Store, will be hosting its Rainy Day Sale from August 17 to August 19. Selected items are up for grabs for up to 70% off their original price.
