Metro Manila welcomes a new P2P route from Muntinlupa to Makati!

Muntinlupa to Makati P2P route

A new P2P bus route will benefit those who frequently travel between Muntinlupa and Makati City.

Anyone who will travel to Metro Manila this week can expect a generally sunny weather, although there are still chances of rain. In terms of transportation, there are several adjustments that travellers must be aware of: some roads in Manila would be closed on November 11 for the bar exams and a new P2P route from Muntinlupa to Makati is now available. Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific has released an announcement of flight adjustments for some domestic and international flights on November 12 to 17.


Weather: Whole week would be partly sunny with chances of rain


The skies around Metro Manila will be partly sunny with chances of rain either in the morning or the afternoon. While day temperature is still mostly warm at 31 to 32°C, it would be colder during the nighttime with the temperature ranging from 23 to 25°C. For daytime travels, bring an umbrella for protection against the sun and rain [1].

Several roads in Manila closed for the bar exams

Due to the bar exams that will be held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) on Sunday, November 11, several roads near the area would be closed to motorists according to the Manila Police District (MPD) traffic enforcement unit. Closed roads include the westbound lane of Espana Blvd to A.H Lacson Avenue to P. Noval Street from. Closure will take effect from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Southbound vehicles along A.H Lacson Ave can go straight to Nagtahan to get to their point of destination. Meanwhile, westbound vehicles along Espana Blvd, can turn right to A.H Lacson, left to Laong-Laan to A. Mendoza to reach their destination.

Parking shall also be prohibited along the streets of Espana Blvd., A.H Lacson Ave., Dapitan Street, and P. Noval Street [2].


Muntinlupa to Makati P2P route now available

A new Point-to-Point (P2P) bus route is now accessible to those living in the south. The route will travel between Muntinlupa and Makati City. The drop-off point at Makati would be at Century City Mall while the drop off for Muntinlupa would be at the Alabang Town Center. The departure time for Alabang Town Center is at 7:00 AM while for Century City it is 6:00 PM. The fare for a one-way trip is PhP100 [3].


Travel Update: Cebu Pacific adjusts flight schedules


Due to the operational requirements, Cebu Pacific will be adjusting the schedule of its flights on November 12 to 17, 2018 from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM [4]. Some of the affected flights include domestic trips to Cebu, Zamboanga, Iloilo, and Davao and international trips to Brunei, China, Vietnam, and Malaysia. The complete list of affected flights is available in the advisory found in Cebu Pacific’s website.

Affected passengers have three options: rebook their flights for travel within 30 days of their original departure dates, place the cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund for future use, or get a full refund. Those who booked through travel agencies are encouraged to provide updated contact detail so that they would be notified about flight changes.
