For the last month of the year, Yoorekka visited two wet markets and one supermarket in the metro to check the availability of basic goods as well as their prices. The aforementioned wet markets and supermarket are: Balintawak Public Market, SM Megamall Supermarket, and Nepa Q-Mart Market.

Below is a comprehensive breakdown and price comparison of the products’ availability and prices for the month of December 2018:

Rice

We decided to focus on only three types of rice to easily keep track of their prices and availability.
