Transportation around Metro Manila will be the main concern for commuters and locals this week. While the weather will be pleasant the entire week, there will be some inconveniences for commuters along Ortigas and Pasig due to the Maynilad road works. But in other parts of Metro Manila, specifically Caloocan and Quezon City, motorists can now use the newly opened North Luzon Expressway Harbor Link Segment 10 to cut their travel time.

Weather: Dry and sunny Metro Manila for the whole week

Expect the air around Metro Manila to be a little humid and dry this week. Day temperature will fall between 33 °C to 34 °C during the day, but nights will be cooler with a temperature range of 23 °C to 25° C [1]. When going out, don’t forget to apply sunscreen on your face and body to prevent sun damage. To check the weather’s status, tune in to the news for more information.

Traffic News

MMDA Announced schedules for Maynilad roadwork

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the schedule of Maynilad roadworks conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) [2]. From March 11 to 15, the following areas will be affected by the installation of new water service connections:

• Pasig Boulevard westbound, second lane from the sidewalk.
• Southbound of C5-Ortigas intersection nearby CCF exit gate.

The roadworks might have an impact on the traffic flow at the affected areas. Motorists who frequently pass these roads are advised to find other routes.

NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10’s routes unveiled

DPWH released a guide to the NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10’s routes for first time users [3]. Below is a summary of the directions for various destinations.
