Vigan City in Ilocos Sur always showcases its rich cultural heritage, beautiful beaches, and outdoor adventures. The city has plenty of places to explore this Christmas, including a charming Christmas village that serves as a picture-perfect wonderland that captivates locals and tourists.
On December 1, Vigan City unveiled a festive Christmas Wonderland Village brimming with holiday cheer. This enchanting village offers a variety of rides designed explicitly for children, making it an ideal destination for families looking to celebrate the season together.
The spectacular Christmas village is situated in the vicinity of the Ilocos Sur Provincial Capitol, which serves as the town hall in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. Located on Avenida Quezon, this area has transformed into a stunning Christmas destination called Ilocos Sur Christmas ONEderland.
The 55-foot-tall giant Christmas tree in front of the provincial capitol mesmerizes with its vibrant glow, making it the village’s ordinary decorations. Moreover, your kids will enjoy several rides, including slides, carousels, and more! In addition to the rides, visitors can enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with decorations, lights, and holiday-themed activities that cater to the joy and excitement of the Christmas season.
If you plan to visit this Christmas village soon, you should note the essential restrictions: eating, smoking, and vaping are strictly prohibited. Additionally, pets are not permitted, and bringing sharp objects is forbidden. If you get your kids here, you can carry essential items like
strollers or
baby carriers to enhance your visit when traveling with young children. These items can significantly improve comfort and convenience, making it easier to navigate the village while ensuring that your little ones are safe and secure.
This charming Christmas village is at Ilocos Sur Provincial Government in Vigan City. It has a free entrance fee and is open daily from 6:18 PM to 11:00 PM.
