No one can deny that they’re always dreaming and looking for their next getaway. While visiting beach resorts is fun, nor sliding for your life in Waterworld Iloilo and hiking in various mountains in Panay, experiencing an eco-stay is equally enjoyable and worthwhile!

Between Iloilo and Bacolod is a small island, Guimaras, known for its sweet mangoes during the country’s summer season. Apart from its tasty mangoes, the island also boasts white-sand beaches, island coves, and beautiful resorts – one of which is Nature’s Eye Resort by the coast of Nueva Valencia. The resort is truly one of Guimaras’ tourist destinations for an authentic nature getaway. Read on to know why you should daydream about this hideaway and plan a visit when its borders open.

The pandemic scare is too much to handle sometimes, but this nature-inspired resort in Guimaras offers a heavenly experience where you can be at peace. Situated on top of a cliff, Nature’s Eye Resort is synonymous with Mother Nature for plenty of reasons. Notably, this hideaway offers healing and wonders with its bountiful gardens and trees. Its rustic cottages and rooms—Shell, Cottage, Sunset Cottage, Cliff Cottage, Ocean View Upper Deck, and Ocean View Lower Deck—are built on principles of enchantment and tranquility.

Guests wake up to the sound of chirping birds that fly freely around the cottages and rooms. While this place doesn’t have enough mobile signals, one can retreat from the modern world by exploring the resort’s beachfront and nearby coral reefs. During the day, the resort also offers island hopping tours to magnificent rock cliffs, nearby coves, and the uninhabited Dalum Balas Beach.

Also, Nature’s Eye Resort has a restaurant where all dishes serve fresh! They prepare delicious traditional home-cooked Filipino and Ilonggo plates best devoured while enjoying the views of nature. You can also have your meals sent to your room or requests how you want them to be cooked or prepared.

If you want to disconnect from the world and be with nature, a little haven by the cliff of Guimaras is just waiting for your visit.

Note that the resort is currently open for Guimaras residents as the local government tightens control of its borders due to high records of COVID-19 cases. Nature’s Eye Resort will reopen to outsiders once there is no more border restriction in the province.

Nature’s Eye Resort is located at Barangay Tando, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras Island. For reservations, you may call 0907 757 9055 or send an email at natureseyebeachresort@gmail.com.
