With its ground-breaking held last August, construction is now under way for The Emerald Resort and Casino, the first integrated resort and casino outside Metro Manila. The $341-million project is slated to open as early as 2019 in Lapu-Lapu City. For now, whether you’d like to play in Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, or Talisay, there’s a casino nearby where you can try your luck.

Its convenient location within walking distance from the airport makes it the ideal place for busy travelers. 3. Casino Filipino Crown Regency

For an even more intense match, guests can play at their VIP rooms. The resort has 165 guest rooms, 14 villas, a spa, and Italian restaurant. Mactan Isla Resort and Casino is open 24/7.
How to get there: Take a jeepney plying the Mandaue to Maribago route (MI-01B). From M.L. Quezon National Highway, take a right turn to Ibabao-Gisi-Agus Road. Alternatively, you may take the slightly shorter Marigondon-to-Basak route by jeepney (MI-04A) or cab.
6. WiN Hotel & Casino
Mactan Isla Resort and Casino offers gaming in a posh setting.
Opened in 2015, WiN Hotel & Casino is a joint venture of PAGCOR and Cebu Autogrande Corporation. It is located in the commercial area of Brgy. Linao, Talisay City.
Casino services include slot machines, pula-puti (red-white), Super Six Baccarat, and roulette. Hotel room rates start at PhP1,288 for an overnight stay, and PhP488 for three hours. Casino Filipino Talisay is open daily from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
How to get there: From SM Seaside City Cebu, ride a MyBus and get off at the bus stop near Starmall Talisay. WiN Hotel is a four-minute walk from Starmall.
