In the concrete jungle of Metro Manila, it can sometimes be difficult for parents to find a safe play area for kids to roam free and just enjoy themselves. Many little children are left to entertain themselves by mundanely tapping the screens of their tablets. But if you’re a parent and know that there are in fact several places you can take your kids to where they can actually run around and play and learn with other kids, won’t you bring them there?

Here’s a list of child-friendly places in Metro Manila that will encourage your children to exercise their creativity and imagination.

Every kid in the world gets asked this perennial question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” In Kidzania, the young ones can have a taste of the adult career they’re imagining for themselves by trying out role-playing activities. Children earn by becoming their future professions—they could be a pilot, a chef, or a policeman. They will then receive a salary for their “work” not in pesos but in kidZos, which they can use to buy items and even open up a savings account at a Kidzania bank. At Kidzania, kids can have fun and learn at the same time.

Somewhere in the south of Manila lies an enchanted forest called Pixie Forest that has rides that will keep little boys and girls fascinated. Instead of a Ferris wheel, there’s a Fairy’s Wheel; Elfin Waves, a type of water ride; a fun house area; and other activities that are sure to keep your little ones wide-eyed. Oh, and you can have your child’s birthday party held at the Pixie Forest for that magical celebration!
