Days seem to be just flying by; it feels like it wasn’t even that long ago when Christmas decorations flooded every nook and cranny of the metro. Now, amazingly, the summer season has come and gone as well. It’s time to say goodbye to spontaneous beach and road trips and to replace bikinis and swimming trunks with rainy weather-appropriate clothes.
And though this might be something to sulk about (for as they say, “It’s more fun in the sun”), there are still a number of things to look forward to in the upcoming weeks. The month of June does entail three holidays that fall on a weekday after all, and that is nothing to mope about. Another solid season to celebrate the arrival of the month is the bounty of mall deals and shopping events now that the midseason is upon us. Here are a few of the hottest mall sales in Metro Manila this June 2018!
1. SM Home’s Tableware Sale
Where: All SM Home branches nationwide
When: April 26 to June 3, 2018
SM Home is known to be the one-stop shop for all houseware needs.

SM Home is the home section of The SM Store. It has a total of 58 branches in the Philippines, with over twenty of them being in Metro Manila. It offers an array of items from linens, tableware, kitchenware, and even decors which will no doubt beautify your home. Up to 50% off on selected items is available on their Tableware Sale which runs from April 26 to June 3.
2. SM City Sta. Mesa’s The SM Store Accessories Sale
Where: SM City Sta. Mesa, Gregorio Araneta Avenue, San Juan, Metro Manila
When: May 16 to June 3, 2018
Shop for new accessories to welcome the rainy season!

SM Sta. Mesa’s SM Store Accessories Sale is happening from May 16 to June 3. It offers discounts on branded eyewear, watches, as well as jewelry. The sale is being held at the mall center lobby at the Upper Ground Floor. SM Sta. Mesa is open from 10 AM to 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10 AM to 9PM the rest of the week.
3. The Metro Store’s Back to School Sale
Where: All Metro Department Stores nationwide
When: May 25 to June 3, 2018
The Metro Stores’ are open from 10 AM to 9 PM.

The Metro Retail Stores brand has a total of twelve branches all over the country. Four of them are right here in the metro, namely Metro Market! Market!, Metro Alabang, Metro U.P. Town, and Metro Fairview Terraces. For their Back to School Sale which is happening from May 25 to June 3, discounts of up to 50% are up for grabs on selected items.
4. The Landmark Back-to-School Sale
Where: All Landmark branches
When: May 30 to June 4, 2018
Landmark has a total of three branches in the metro.

From furniture and hardware to fashion apparel, Landmark has a wide selection of items for your various shopping needs. From May 30 to June 4, the establishment will hold its Back-to-School Sale where up to 50% off is available on great selections found all over the store in its branches in Makati, Trinoma, and Alabang.
5. The Metro Store’s Denim Sale
Where: All Metro Department Stores and Super Metro Hypermarket branches nationwide
When: May 18 to June 10, 2018
There are a total of thirteen Super Metro Hypermarket stores in the country.

Another sale by The Metro Store is its Denim Sale which is happening from May 18 to June 10. Up to 50% off on selected items and participating brands are available in both Metro Department Stores and Super Metro Hypermarket branches all over the country. In addition to this, ten-liter dry bags are also available for just PhP179 for every single-receipt purchase worth PhP1,500 at Metro Department Stores and PhP1,000 at Super Metro Hypermarket stores.
6. Robinsons Department Store’s Cool For School Sale
Where: All Robinsons Department Store branches nationwide
When: May 1 to June 30, 2018
Robinson’s Department Store has a total of twelve branches in the NCR.

From May 1 until June 30, Robinsons Department Store will be offering a back-to-school sale for students. Up to 70% off is available for brands such as DC Superheroes, Kipling, and Mario D’ Boro, and many more. Special offers are also available for the brands Biofresh, Burlington, and Puma. Free gifts are also up for grabs from participating brands Gold Toe as well as items in the Children’s Wear department.
The end of the summer season doesn’t have to be all sad and blue. And these major sales for you to enjoy are one good reason for you to welcome the rainy season with open arms.
