Also known as Angara Cove, Bituin Cove is a great choice if you’re looking for a spot that’s peaceful and private. The cove’s calm sea bed makes it an exciting place for cliff diving. In order to do so, you must first climb an underground lagoon to get to the cliff on top. Other water activities such as snorkeling, fish feeding, and island hopping can also be done at the place if you don’t feel like going in for a second jump. Note that there are no resorts in the cove, so it advisable to bring your own tent and gear.

2. Tali Beach

Location: Nasugbu, Batangas
Rates: Varies per accommodation

If you’re a first timer, there’s no need to worry because Tali Beach caters to divers and non-divers alike. The place also gives a stunning view of the sunset and a breathtaking view of the stars at night, so camping is highly recommended.

There’s more to Fortune Island than meets the eye. Not only does it give off strong Greek ambience with its pillar ruins, but it also boasts powdery white sand, gentle ocean waves, and a perfectly good diving spot. The picture-perfect island is already a charm in itself, so take advantage of it by capturing loads of pictures! After cliff diving, you can choose to go deeper and explore the wonders of the ocean through the Blue Holes, a bunch of sinkholes that lead into an open-topped cavern; The Wreck, a rear part of a Dutch freighter; and the Fortune NW, a valley filled with diverse coral formations.

Yet another untouched beauty located in the heart of Nasugbu, Batangas is Papaya Island Cove. The cove is perfect for those who are in need of a break from places with large crowds. Its sandbed is relaxing to walk and lie on. There are also two diving spots in the area. One is located in a small, hidden island called “Kay Enteng”, and the other is located in Taytayin Cove. Both spots are abundant in marine life, making cliff diving as interesting as it is exciting.

5. Club Punta Fuego

The vast ocean view at Club Punta Fuego may seem lonely and empty, but it is actually the exact opposite. Thriving with marine biodiversity and known for being a diver’s paradise, Punta Fuego is long considered as one of the best diving spots in the country. Fun fact: back in 2014, the Punta Fuego and Rider Cliff Diving Invitational was held here. This helped attract more visitors, making it a favorite cliff diving of both tourists and locals. The place is also a snorkelling-friendly area due to its healthy coral reefs and marine life.
