VaxCertPH Is Now Accessible to OFWs in Baguio City

This digital vaccine certificate system will be available to the general public at a later time.

VaxCertPH currently prioritizes OFWs from Baguio City and Metro Manila.

The Philippines’ official portal for digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate VaxCertPH was launched last September 6. The portal will serve as a channel for fully vaccinated individuals to secure a digital version of their COVID-19 vaccination certificate. The portal is currently available only for those living in Metro Manila and Baguio City who plan to travel outside the Philippines, particularly overseas Filipino workers. As for the general public, it will be soon usable at a later time.

VaxCertPH can be accessed through any computer or mobile device via vaxcert.doh.gov.ph. Once on the site, fully vaccinated individuals can see the complete information of their vaccination area and date, vaccine brand, and QR code. If a vaccination record is still not available on the website, individuals can upload a picture of their vaccination card and any government-issued ID.

In Baguio City, certificates are only accessible through the VaxCert website as of September 7. Although, physical booths might appear soon since it has been implemented in Navotas City.

Navotas residents without proper internet access can head to the lobby of the city hall, where they set up booths for VaxCert. Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco announced in a Facebook post that they would prioritize OFWs set for deployment. Residents must bring their NavoBakuna vaccination card and any two government-issued IDs. Other areas have yet to announce if they will set up booths for those without internet access.

VaxCert is the official digital version of vaccine cards of fully vaccinated individuals. It serves as a unified version of all the LGU-issued vaccination cards given to fully vaccinated individuals. It was developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in June 2021. All VaxCert services are free of charge.
