If you're in Metro Manila and looking for a place to spend good times with friends or just unwind, more than just the city lights, you’re sure to find all the good food and drinks to treat yourself and your company with. Perfect for such occasions are the different rooftop or roof-deck restobars in the Metro! Check out these places that have delectable dishes, awesome drinks, and a great view of the city!
Z Hostel Roofdeck
There is something about the environment at
Z hostel Roofdeck—the topmost level of Z Hostel—that would make you want to visit the place over and over. For one, the roof-deck offers two different sides from which you can have an awesome view of the surrounding areas. On the turf side, you can see Bonificio Global City and Makati; from the wooden deck side, there's the view of Rockwell and Ortigas. Considering Z Hostel offers accommodations for both local and foreign travelers, you'll never find yourself as a complete stranger. The cozy vibe in the place makes one feel familiar, comfortable, and not out of place.

They serve beer, hard drinks, and finger food which are a perfect match to the bar's relaxed atmosphere. Regular performers, such as DJ's and musicians, frequent the bar as early as 5:00 PM on Sundays, though live music is also available in other days of the week.
It's easy to find the hostel; the key is to get there from Makati Avenue. Find Giles Hotel and enter that corner. A few meters ahead is Don Pedro Street. Be mindful, though, of the one-way streets to avoid any traffic violations.

For non-hostel guests, a minimum of Php 150.00 must be paid at the hostel's front desk. This fee is consumable and converted into credit, which is encoded in a chip inside a bracelet given to the customer. This is how transactions are done at the roof deck: When the credit is consumed, reloading can be done at the roof deck bar.

The Roof Deck Bistro
There is always a bistro or a bar in every corner of Quezon City. It is safe to say that there are as many bars in the city as there are people looking for a place to just hangout and relax. If you want a quiet yet fun evening, there are a few places that standout. The
Roof Deck Bistro is one of those.

Though situated at the top of only a four-storey building in Examiner Street, the height of its location belies the enjoyment there. Adorned with wood decorations and tables, the place exudes a very local and Filipino vibe. The lighting at The Roof Deck Bistro is just right—not too bright to take away the laid-back atmosphere and too dim to make one want to lie in bed. Everything in this place is the right balance of good time and relaxation.
Alcoholic beverages and Pinoy food are also served (Photo courtesy of Roof Deck Bistro)
The menu consists of Filipino staples and favorites like pansit, bagnet, chicharong bulaklak, bangus belly, fish fillet, and liempo among others. You'll be surprised at the alcoholic beverages available they offer. Aside from local beer, international beers and other popular hard drinks are available as well.
The night will not be complete without music in the background performed by local talents. You can ask them to sing your favorite classics or top-40 hits. Just call the venue first to inquire about the scheduled performances and make sure that the night will go on with the perfect music in the backdrop of good company, food, and drinks. Just be prepared to climb the stairs from the ground floor to get to the roof deck.

100 Revolving Restaurant
Found at the top of MDC 100 Building in Eastwood, Libis, this resto is a wonder on its own. It is the only revolving restaurant in Metro Manila. That alone is enough for you to try out the place. A full revolution of
100 Revolving takes an hour and 45 minutes, which gives you ample time to enjoy fine dining there. Owned by multi-awarded Chef Jessie Sincioco, the restaurant serves nothing short of delicious.

Delight yourself with the many choices of appetizers, soups, sandwiches, pastas, desserts, main courses, and even Japanese specialties. You’ll have all this while relishing the view of Quezon City and even the communities at the outskirts of the Metro on the mountainsides. 100 Revolving is actually a fine dining restaurant, but you will also find there an impressive lineup of drinks available at the bar. You can choose among local and imported beers, popular hard drinks, and wines. They also have a number of non-alcoholic blends, which are equally satisfying.

It is always best to get a reservation especially if you want to be seated at the revolving spot of the resto, which you should do so you can maximize your experience there. Sitting at the revolving spot can be dizzying at first, though. If you have terrible motion sickness problem, then don't pick a spot at the revolving side. Otherwise, by all means stay at the windows and relish the view. You can enjoy the place during the day or at night as the 100 Revolving opens at 11:00 AM. Daytime view has its own beauty different from the night so you'll have enjoyable scenery either way.
Parking is at the basement levels. The elevator going to the restaurant is at the ground floor. All-you-can-eat buffet is available on Sundays for Php 1,000.00.
