This week’s average temperature will play around 35 to 36°C. Abundant sunshine with less humidity can be expected throughout the week, while a sunny day with intermittent showers may take place on Sunday, April 24.


SUMMER ACTIVITY AND WORKSHOP

Sports Camp for Kids

The Mega Sports Camp is happening on April 25 to 30 at CCF Center, Frontera Verde in Pasig. This camp does not only encourage kids to engage in sports but also aim to educate them about the importance of life skills that will help them grow healthy and happy.

The camp fee costs PhP1,500 per child inclusive of sports bag, water bottle, camp materials, daily snacks, and two tickets to Daily Parent’s Workshop.


Writing Workshop

Dalawahan: Paano Magsulat ng Play, a writing workshop, is happening on April 23, 24, and 30 and on May 1. It will be conducted by two-time Palanca awardee, Juan Ekis.

This four-day writing course will be held at Tipsy Beans Unplugged in Ortigas. Interested participants can contact them through Juan Ekis Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Queries may also be sent via e-mail at juanekis.projects@gmail.com.

Earth Day 2016

Earth Day is celebrated during the 22nd day of April all around the globe. This annual event aims to increase awareness on environmental issues and demonstrate support for its protection. Several activities are set to happen all over Metro Manila through the initiative of Earth Day Network and Earth Day Network Philippines. Mga Anak ni Inang Daigdaig (MAID) from Smokey Mountain Province will be having their Environmental Concert at Skydome, SM North EDSA on April 21, while the Earth Bike Parade is set to take place on April 24 in Makati.
