A wedding is a celebration of the love that a couple have for each other. This is why they really put all the effort to make it the perfect gathering. But perfect does not necessarily mean expensive. Looking for the best venue on a tight budget? Here are some spots around Metro Manila that are unique and classy yet amazingly affordable. (You might even get to stretch your funds up to the first birthday of your soon-to-be baby!)
1. Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC)
Along the heavily-congested Elliptical Road in Quezon City is an eco-tourism site offering everyone a break from all the noise and pollution of the city—the
Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC). The Center has grown not only into a park and protected area for rescued animals, but also into an inexpensive and refreshing venue for guests to celebrate some of their most cherished life events.
Entrance to the Fishing Village
One of the main attractions in the park is the lagoon where the Fishing Village stands. There are five cottages on stilts, over the water, that provide a scenic view of the whole park. These cottages can accommodate up to 150 people and be rented for minimal package fee of Php 1,700.00, including use of electricity from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
All the five cottages of the Fishing Village can be used for only Php 1,700.00.
Trees line up the passage way leading to the five cottages.
Another establishment that can be used by the public is the Tea House. The gazebo-type structure, which can house 40 to 50 people, costs only Php 800.00 for a whole day’s use, including electricity.

The Amphitheater, which has room for up to 500 people, is available for events and festivities on a larger scale. The roofed open-air area can be used from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for only Php 850.00.
All fees give visitors a chance for an all-day exploration of the park. Go ahead and invite your guests to check out the other attractions inside this 22.7-hectare government facility to maximize their passes; they can go before or after the celebrations.
2. La Mesa Eco Park
In 1999, the La Mesa Watershed, which has been one of the main sources of Metro Manila’s water supply since 1929, was in a devastated state. In an effort to save the reservoir from further degradation, Bantay Kalikasan, in partnership with Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) and the Quezon City government, has successfully rehabilitated the 33-hectare land around the watershed and transformed it into a natural park, now called the
La Mesa Eco Park, that the public can enjoy.

The Ipil Pavilion can accommodate 250 persons for only Php 5,000.00 for the whole day. This package includes free park entrance for 80 guests. With the same perks, the Narra Pavilion can be rented out; but it can only house 150 guests.
