Eating out with family and friends is a favorite activity for many of us. Whether it’s having dinner on a typical Saturday night or enjoying a Sunday family lunch, we all take pleasure in eating flavorful dishes with great company. And buffet restaurants are a perfect venue for just that.
There are so many buffet restaurants in Metro Manila that offer a wide selection of cuisines from around the world. No matter what you are craving for, there is surely a buffet dining establishment that can satisfy your taste buds. But we cannot have too many options when it comes to food, can we? So, here’s a list of newly opened buffet restaurants in the metro that you can try out with your friends and family.
High Street Café (Shangri-La at the Fort)
High Street Café offers a wide range of dishes from around the world.
If you’re staying at Shangri-La at the Fort or just near the area, you may want to try High Street Café, one of the many dining establishments in the hotel. Bringing nine culinary neighborhoods together, High Street Café offers an all-day dining experience where you can choose from Western, Asian, and Mediterranean dishes.
There are also food stations dedicated to seafood, salads, and desserts. Craving for rotisserie dishes? High Street Café can satisfy your craving as it is the only buffet in Metro Manila with a full rotisserie section. And if you’re a busy person, you can start the day right with a filling breakfast from Grand and Go, a breakfast-on-the-go trolley at High Street Café. Make-your-own-hot-chocolate and liquid nitrogen stations are also available.
Brasserie on 3 serves dishes with organic and locally-sourced ingredients.
One of the restaurants in Conrad Manila is Brasserie on 3. It features an extensive array of buffet dishes with organic, seasonal produce as well as ingredients that are sourced locally. The hotel even has a veranda garden where they grow herbs and other produce.
Brasserie on 3 has the usual food stations of salads, seafood, main dishes, and desserts. But what makes it different from other buffet restaurants is that it offers a sinigang (sour broth with meat or fish and vegetables) station. You can sample pork, salmon, or shrimp sinigang to keep you warm on a rainy day. It also features an open kitchen setup and live cooking stations that make buffet dining more enjoyable. Brasserie on 3 has indoor and outdoor terrace dining areas that can accommodate 236 people.
Food Exchange Manila (Novotel)
Food Exchange Manila serves international dishes with an open kitchen setup.
If you’re in the Cubao area, you may want to try the different buffet dishes at Food Exchange Manila, located at Novotel Manila Araneta Center. The restaurant’s international food menu features grilled meat, Chinese, Pan-Asian, Filipino, and Indian dishes, as well as seafood, salads, and a wide range of desserts.
