A home reflects the personality of those who reside in it, and this is why every homeowner should seek out pieces that show who they are. The key to snagging a great piece of décor or furniture should not only be based on how it contributes to the ambience, but also on the quality. Below is a list of five new décor and furniture shops that offer quality items to give a house an instant makeover.

1. Ambient Philippines

Operating Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Where: Suite 315 BC, 3rd floor, LRI Design Plaza, Makati City

The Quadro (left) and the honeycomb-shaped light (right) are two of the unique lights available at Ambient.

A perfect light fixture is not only functional but also contributes to the overall aesthetic. Ambient Philippines has collections of modern-looking lights that add oomph to a dull part of the house. The store, which opened last August 12, offers creative wall lights and ceiling lights with clean-cut geometrical shapes that would fit the homes of minimalists and avant-garde aficionados alike.

One eye-catching item in their collection is the honeycomb-shaped light, a great accessory that would be suitable for those looking to add a unique, quirky touch in their abode. On the other hand, those who prefer simple designs can opt for wall lights with rectilinear designs.

Those who are interested in the products of Ambient Philippines can contact their store for the prices.

Tables with thin metal legs are the most common products of The Misfit Ventures, but another eye-catching product from their collection is the Bukowski Dolly chair. Its design adds a funky feel to a room.

The price of tables range from PhP999 to PhP8,599 while bedside tables are from PhP1,099 to PhP2,999. Their racks are priced anywhere from PhP2,399 to PhP6,599; while TV cabinets are from PhP5,450 to PhP8,499; and chairs are from PhP1,899 to PhP2,499.
