The first backpack brand that made it to our list is Volcom. It’s a lifestyle brand founded in 1991 in Orange County, California that caters mainly to board sports athletes and aficionados. Volcom is recognized for the rebellious aesthetics in their products, from t-shirts, board shorts, denims, sandals, to a variety of accessories fit for the outdoors.

The backpack brand that claimed the third spot is JanSport. Probably the most famous backpack-maker in the world, Jansport has been creating backpacks since 1967 and has introduced some notable innovations since. In fact, the brand can be credited for panel or front-loading backpacks that are popular today. Aside from backpacks, they also create duffel bags, fanny packs, and tote bags.
Although JanSport is known for backpacks with classic, primary colors, they also have ones with fun designs like the JanSport DigiBreak Matrix Chevron (PhP2,690) backpack pictured above. On the second spot in our list is The North Face. Established in 1966, The North Face started out as a store that sold climbing equipment to climbers and backpackers. Eventually, they expanded their product offerings to clothes, shoes, and bags and branched out to cater not just to outdoorsmen but to sports enthusiasts as well.

Hawk Bag is a local brand that proved that they are more than just backpacks.

The backpack brand in the country that took the top spot is Hawk . This local brand started creating backpacks for Filipinos in 1978, and today it still continues to produce high-quality yet affordable backpacks with the trendiest designs. Hawk also creates gym bags, laptop bags, belt bags, and stroller bags, among others.
Hawk continuously proves that local brands do not fall short in design and quality, and this is apparent in the gray bag with bold zippers (PhP1,599.75) model above.
