Shopping centers in Bacolod City remain open amid the rising COVID-19 cases.
Although cases continue to climb in Bacolod City, the local government allowed malls and business establishments to operate. As of writing, the city is still under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), and essential shops in malls, restaurants, and retail stores operate at full capacity.
In Bacolod, five major shopping centers remain open to the public, given that they exercise proper disinfection and implementation of minimum health protocols at all times.

Before entering these malls, secure your BacTrac ID, face masks, and face shields. You can secure a BacTrac account at https://bactrac.bacolodcity.gov.ph/. Also, temperature checks are done at the entry point of shopping malls for customers and mall staff. Shoppers are also required to observe physical distancing while shopping and lining in queues to prevent the spread of the virus in closed areas. Furthermore, shoppers are also encouraged to sanitize their hands before entering a store or restaurant. Be sure to disinfect your shopping bags and goods when you get home.
