The Megaworld Bacolod Christmas Display officially launched at Megaworld’s The Upper East in Bacolod City with the theme, Balik Gugma Sa Paskwa: A night commemorating the past as we look forward to the future.

The Christmas display at Megaworld Bacolod held its official Christmas lighting ceremony at The Upper East and welcomed the holiday season as the event marked its opening with a fireworks display and song performances by the De La Salle Chorale.

The Megaworld Bacolod Christmas Display features a 20-foot Christmas tree designed to depict the Nativity, adorned with illuminating lights.

The BBMC train was revamped and later became an iconic spot at Megaworld Bacolod’s 2,200-square-meter-park, also decorated with bright Christmas lights. Megaworld Bacolod’s Glass Tent, located near the Christmas display at Megaworld Bacolod, is also embellished with Christmas wreaths.

The real estate company also launched a Christmas lighting ceremony of another Christmas Display at Megaworld Bacolod, simultaneous with the Upper East Megaworld Bacolod Christmas Display at Forbes Hill, Northill Gateway, also owned by Megaworld Bacolod. The spot became more festive-looking with a bright display of a reindeer and sleigh, dancing Christmas trees, and substantial gift boxes.

Aside from the Christmas display, visitors will enjoy roaming around The Upper East with food kiosks and boutique stalls featured at the Christmas Bazaar, which will be until January 15, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. There are also Weekend Acoustic Nights every Friday to Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and White Christmas Snow Blast activities every Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM.

The launch of the lighting ceremony of the Christmas display at The Upper East Megaworld Bacolod was headed by Megaworld’s Executives and the event’s distinguished guests, Honorable Councilor Jason Villarosa, Chief Tourism Operations Officer Ms. Ma. Teresa Q. Manalili, Ms. Jennifer Ann P. Fong, the Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Megaworld Visayas region, Western Visayas Township Director Jogie P. Viceo, Engr. Juan Tormis, the Senior Estate Manager of Western Visayas, and Megaworld’s Sales Directors - Ms. Danica Lagansoa, Mr. Gilbert Montebon, and Mr. Gian Javellana.

According to Megaworld, they are delighted to have these kick-off events to celebrate Christmas with Bacolodnons, bringing exciting experiences while honoring the rich and colorful traditions this holiday season. [1]
