For the entire week, temperatures ranging from 25C to 35C are expected in Iloilo, the Philippines’s City of Love. Sunny and hot weather days are projected so travelers are advised to take extra measures to prevent heat stroke. There won’t be traffic interruptions or reroutes, but portions of roads in La Paz, Jaro, and Mandurriao districts are still under construction.
Festival
Starting March 12, 2016, Passi City, the only component city of Iloilo, will celebrate the “Pintados De Pasi Festival.” For this yearly event, the Passinhons—locals of Passi City, Iloilo— perform theatrical-like street dancing while their bodies are beautifully decorated with traditional body tattoos of elaborate geometric designs. Passi City is around an hour away from the heart of Iloilo City.
