Boat rides going to and from the island transferred due to rainy weather.

Showery mornings and afternoons can be expected throughout the week.

Throughout the week, the weather will be cloudy with an expected thunderstorm and showers. Minimum temperature is 28°C and maximum is 31°C. With the expected rains, tourists must observe precautionary measures like bringing their umbrellas and dry bags to protect their belongings.


LOCAL NEWS


Alternative ports Tambon and Tambisaan are now used.

Due to the northeast monsoon, boat rides have been transferred to Tabon Port in Caticlan and Tambisaan Port in Boracay Island. Prices for boats and other transportation however, remain the same.

During the rainy season which induces strong waves, boat travel from Caticlan and Cagban Ports is transferred to the alternative ports situated at the safer side of the island.

Hotel industry players will gather for a sales seminar.

On October 10, Hotel Links Solutions will host the How to Increase Sales and Occupancy thru Online Marketing seminar. The seminar is free and will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Boracay Haven Suites at the main road in Station 2, Balabag.

Supermagic Burgers, located at Sands Hotel at the beachfront in Station 3 is temporarily closed this month. However, the burger place will reopen on November in their new location at the Hue Hotel, located at the main road in Station 2.

Fiesta Souvenir Shop which is formerly located at D’Mall is now situated at Boracay Holiday Resort along the main road in Station2. Fiesta sells T-shirts and other souvenir shops from the island.

Smoke Resto[1] located at D’Mall has also transferred to the beachfront of Bulabog Beach. The restaurant is situated at Freestyle Academy, a kitesurfing school in Bulabog. The restaurant has another outlet at D’Mall Market.

Lokal Bar, formerly located at Bulabog Road is now at the beachfront in Bulabog Beach. It is beside Panorama Sunrise Resort. The bar has live bands each night.
