With numerous spots for outdoor activities, Iloilo City is also a haven for sports enthusiasts. There is an expansive Iloilo River Esplanade for those who love running or taking morning and sunset walks. The Iloilo River also becomes a training ground for Ilonggo paddlers. With its vast network of bike lanes, the city is also taking on the title of the bicycle capital of the Philippines.
Another sport growing in popularity among the Ilonggos is airsoft. For those who don’t know, airsoft is a sport where players simulate real-life military combat. They use replicas of real firearms loaded with little plastic pellets called BBs. Airsoft guns are easy to use and powered by gas. While it can also be done outdoors, airsoft is usually played in indoor fields.
So, do you want to experience the first indoor shooting range in Iloilo? Here’s how.
1. It’s the very first indoor airsoft shooting range in Iloilo
Now you can try airsoft at the Red Dot Tactical Air Action Range at Vista Mall.

Luckily, you can now try this airsoft in Iloilo conveniently. The first and only indoor airsoft—air action range was officially opened to the public on May 11 at Vista Mall.
Getting there is easy. You can ride a public bus or jeepney to Hibao-an Terminal in Mandurriao district, then take a tricycle to the mall a few meters away. If you don’t mind walking, reaching it takes only 10 minutes. Direct buses from Mohon Terminal, Tagbak Terminal, and Pavia Terminal are also going there. The easiest would be to take a taxi, or better yet, to bring your car.
2. Expect a lot of adrenaline and fun
You can visit this first indoor shooting range in Iloilo for an adrenaline-filled day.

Whether it’s your first time trying airsoft in Iloilo or even if you’re already an enthusiast, you can expect a lot of adrenaline and fun here. You get to try using a replica gun and shoot at targets. You’ll surely love the feeling of being sharpshooters as you get to try several target ranges. They have five bays, accommodating four to five shooters per bay. So, there’s indeed enough room for everyone.
There’s no need to worry, even if it’s your first time, since professionals are ready to assist you as you embark on this new sport.
3. You can bring your family and friends.
This indoor shooting range is open for kids and adults who want to try it.

This indoor shooting range activity is also safe for kids, making it a perfect family bonding activity. Kids aged eight and above are allowed at Red Dot Tactical Air Action Range as long as they are accompanied by their guardians. A shooting day can also be an excellent team-building activity with colleagues or a fun day with friends.
4. Guns, bullets, and rental fees
Airsoft guns, bullets, and gas are available for rent for shooters.

For PhP200, you can use the firing range unlimitedly in a day. Gun rentals are PhP300 per day.
You can bring your airsoft gun and pay the range fee if you are an airsoft player. You can buy 100 BBs with gas at PhP100 or one pack at PhP380. Meanwhile, the gas canister is sold at PhP450. Each target board is PhP25.
They also sell souvenir merchandise. Shirts cost PhP400, caps cost PhP300, and mugs cost PhP280.
5. First CQB Gamesite in Iloilo is coming soon
The game site is open for reservation only.

What’s more exciting for airsoft enthusiasts is their close-quarters combat (CQB) game site opening on July 27. CQB is an action-packed game in which players engage in battles in tight and confined spaces. They will also open a game site for Speed Quarter Battle (SQB) and Gel Blaster on the same day.
This will be located on the 3rd level of Vista Mall, just next to the cinema area. Soon, airsoft guns and consumables will also be available for sale at the game site area, which is open for reservation only.
Meanwhile, the practical shooting range will also be transferred to the 3rd floor starting July 27. The game site and the practical shooting area will all be air-conditioned for a better experience.
The Red Dot Tactical Air Action Range is owned by Ilonggos Joe Marie Tilos and Peter Apostol.
The Red Dot Tactical Air Action Range is on the 2nd Floor of Vista Mall Iloilo at Pres. Corazon Aquino Rd. (C1), Savannah, Brgy. Pulo Maestra Vita in Oton, Iloilo. This indoor shooting range is open from Tuesday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
