In recent years, Cebu has played host to numerous restaurants based in other provinces. This has made the Queen City of the South not only a melting pot of cultures but of cuisines as well.
Each year, new restaurants open their doors to the Cebuano market. At least four new restaurants in Cebu this 2019 will be open to give Cebuanos something to look forward to each time they decide to eat out.
Cebuanos will finally get to taste the different ice cream flavors offered by Baskin Robins.
Three years after a tarp announced its coming, Baskin-Robbins will finally open its doors to Cebuanos. The biggest chain of ice cream specialty shops will finally give Cebu a taste of its 1,000 ice cream flavors. The store started when Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins started making their own ice cream in 1945. Using different ingredients, they originally had 31 flavors for each day of the month. This list has grown to over a thousand flavors that customers have been enjoying around the world. With their whimsical names, the ice cream of Baskin-Robbins will likely tickle the taste buds of both residents of and visitors to Cebu.
