Lechon—It is not surprising that any Filipino will have a fair share of stories to tell about this well-loved whole pig roasted dish. It is a delicacy symbolizing prosperity that is present in most Filipino tables during the best occasions in life: fiestas, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries. But aside from these momentous celebrations where the lechon is present, it can be said that it’s the crispy and gleaming skin, the juicy and flavorful meat and fat, and the glorious combination of crunchy, soft, and smooth textures of lechon that make it so memorable in any Filipino’s heart, mind, and tongue.

Now that Christmas season is here, it is time again to welcome lechon in our homes and tummies. ShoppersGuide has recently conducted the Top 10 Best Lechon 2016 survey and we now bring you the results so you can choose where to get your lechon for your Noche Buena and Media Noche too!
