Summer time is party time! We all want a water-filled adventure plus exhilarating activities that will make our vacation more eventful. However, a two-day weekend with no work and school is not enough for those who want to fly very far away from the busy city. The good news is that there are water parks that are a few minutes away from Metro Manila with impressive amenities for leisure and entertainment. Check out our list of water parks near Metro Manila that you can visit for the weekend this summer.


Big Rock Farm Resort


Location: Coral na Bato, San Rafael, Bulacan

Named after its location in Brgy. Coral na Bato, which means coral rock, Big Rock Farm Resort began as a private, peaceful place for its owner to relax after a hard day’s work at the farm. The owner eventually opened the resort to the public as a way to source money for its maintenance. The big rock that shades the cave pool is the heart of the place which attracts tourists.

Aside from the pool, they have life-size animal statues that can attract kids and kids at heart. Cottage rates start at PhP500. They also offer rooms and function halls for family and company gatherings.


Loreland Farm Resort


Location: Sitio Loreland, San Roque, Antipolo City
Travel Time: 1 hr and 35 mins

Little ones can enjoy dipping in the Phase 1 pool for kids.


The eight-hectare Loreland Farm Resort offers a relaxing ambience with lots of greeneries around. Located seven minutes away from the iconic Hinulugang Taktak waterfalls, Loreland features a zip line, outdoor pools suitable for all ages, a sports and recreation area, a chapel, and a salon and spa. The venue is also fit for weddings and other events and gatherings. There’s also Camp Tipolo Adventureland for those are holding company team building and family bonding.

Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park


Location: Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite

Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park is one of the first establishments that pioneered in luring local and foreign tourists through their existing facilities. This 36-ha. resort was developed by the Manila Bay Island Resort Corporation and was known as Covelandia Island Resort in 1976, which eventually became Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park in 2010. They take pride in providing deluxe amenities and world-class service which has made them one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.




One of the main attractions at Island Cove is their Oceania splash park and kiddie boating pool. Though their four slides are towering, these are kid-friendly and safe for everyone. For dining options, guests can choose from three restaurants: Fishing Village for traditional Filipino food, Sangley Point for international cuisine, and iCafe for coffee and light snacks.


La Vista Pansol Resort


Location: Nielsen St., Norville Subdivision, Calamba, Laguna

Located between the mythical Mt. Makiling and the Laguna Lake, La Vista Pansol Resort offers a relaxing atmosphere with over 7,000 sq. m. of natural warm spring waters. They entertain guests through a wide range of amenities including the wet ‘n wild pool, bukal wave pool, golden showers, obstacle courses and animal park.

Entrance fee starts at PhP250 for adults and PhP150 for kids using the wet ‘n wild pool. Cottage rates start at PhP500.


Tierra Mercedes Nature Resort

Tierra Mercedes Nature Resort is a family-friendly resort that boasts of attractions suitable for guests of various ages. The word Galilee is adapted from Biblical context which means “circle” or “region,” and place where Jesus dedicated his early years of ministry. At Galilee Wonderland Waterpark and Hotel, guests can indulge in the splendid wave pool or the Sea of Galilee with a replica of the famous Noah’s Ark installed in it. The resort consistently brings the theme of the area up to their hotel rooms and function halls which are named after biblical characters and places.
