We’re now halfway through the year, and the rainy season will soon take over. Office workers have probably consumed all their vacation leave credits for several out-of-town trips during the summer. Students are going back to school, except for college students who will start their first class later this year.

But even with inclement weather, fun and adventure never stop. Before you all get busy, check out this list of the biggest events happening in the country for the month of June!

Multi-platinum pop singer Britney Spears is having her first ever concert as part of her world tour. Tickets are priced from PhP2,625 for general admission to PhP28,350 for standing VIP. Tickets are available at SM Ticket outlets and online.

The Grammy-award winning artist came to fame in the late 90’s when she released her songs, “Oops!... I did it Again” and “Baby One More Time.” Recently, she launched her latest album titled, “Glory.”

Neverland Manila is bringing Young Gunz to the Philippines, one of the biggest music festivals in Europe and Asia. Electronic dance music (EDM) fans can expect a spectacular lineup of both international and local artists. Watch and listen to the live performances of Blasterjaxx, Firebeatz, Kura, Tom Swoon, Julian Jordan, Sick Individuals, Thomas Newson, Alvita, MC Jollygood, Deuce, and MRKII B2B Borhuh. Young music lovers aged 15 and above are all welcome to attend the hippest music event to happen this month.

Bazooka Rocks presents A Pop Punk Weekend

Another weekend of celebrating music is here as Bazooka Rocks presents A Pop Punk Weekend. Punk rock fans are all invited to witness international bands, like The Maine from Arizona, With Confidence from Australia, Cambridge from Sydney, and State Champs from New York. A two-day VIP pass is priced at PhP6,720. Tickets are available at SM Ticket outlets and online.

In Wonder Woman, Diana, who is born and raised in a hidden island called Themyscira, is a princess of the Amazons trained to be a warrior. An American pilot unfortunately crashes on their shores and reports about the chaotic happenings in the outside world. Diana will discover more of her powers as she fights alongside men and conquers the conflict.


Despicable Me 3
When: June 14, 2017

Despicable Me 3 is finally showing in Philippine cinemas starting this June. It is the third installment of the American 3D film series, Despicable Me. The animated film follows the adventure of Gru fighting Balthazar Bratt. Bratt is a former child star turned criminal who channels a character he played in the ‘80s while he commits felonies. Gru also deals with sibling rivalry as he and his long-lost twin brother Dru hatch a plan to stop Bratt.


Transformers: The Last Knight
When: June 21, 2017

Transformers: The Last Knight is set at a time when humans are at war with the Transformers. Now that Optimus Prime is gone, saving the world is in the hands of Cade Yeager, Bumblebee, an English Lord, and an Oxford Professor. In the movie, heroes will become villains and vice versa, and only one specie will survive. To understand why these alien robots keep coming back, the group must look to the history of Transformers on Earth.
