Ah, the summer season: the time when loose, billowy clothes; longer and hotter days; and group getaways are what’s up and about. 2018 is rolling on quick, and a third of the year has already passed. Although you won’t get to experience summer breaks unlike the students, there still are a number of sales and promos going down in the metro where you can spoil yourself.
The following are just ten of the most anticipated Manila summer promos and sales, complete with directions on how to get there. Make this your checklist, and treat yourself with your hard-earned money. You know you deserve it!
1. Alberto Shoes Summer Promo
Where: All Alberto branches nationwide
Alberto Shoes has a wide assortment of shoe wear, so there’s bound to be something to suit your style.

Alberto Shoes offers a variety of different shoe wear and leather goods, ranging from men’s formal shoes to women’s bags and accessories. From February 23 to April 15, they’re running a grand sale on their shoes. Cop your new pair of shoes on sale and get up to 50% off if you buy 3 or more pairs.
How to get there: Head on to the nearest participating Alberto Shoes branch in your area.
2. Landers 50% Off on Membership
Where:

Landers Alabang, Daang Hari Road, Almanza Dos, Las Piñas City
A premium membership in Landers offers a lot of privileges and benefits, but this summer, it gets more stacked with their huge sale.

Landers Superstore is a supermarket chain that offers top-quality home goods at wholesale prices. From March 1 until April 20, they are offering a 50% discount on in-store membership sign-ups and membership renewals, from the usual going rate of PhP800. Now, new and renewing members only have to pay PhP400 to renew their membership with the supermarket brand. For the renewal fee, note that the promo can only be availed by the primary cardholder, meaning only the owner of the card is allowed to transact and claim the discount.
How to get there:
Landers Balintawak: From the MRT North Avenue station, ride a bus going to Pacita Complex-Novaliches located at the MMDA EDSA-North Avenue Bus Station. Alight at Kaingin Road walk a short distance to landers Balintawak.
Landers Otis: From LRT Araneta Center-Cubao Station, ride the LRT 2 line bound for Recto and alight at Pureza station. From there, you can reach Landers Otis by foot.
Landers Alabang: From Greenbelt 1, ride a bus destined for Alabang Town Center. From there, you can reach Landers Alabang by foot.
3. Manila Ocean Park’s Summer Mania Promo
Where: Manila Ocean Park, 666 Behind Quirino Grandstand, Ermita, Manila
The promo is valid for both adults and children, which means all members of the family get to marvel at marine life in Manila Ocean Park.

Running from March 1 to May 31, Manila Ocean Park’s Summer Mania Promo offers four different package deals at remarkably low prices. For their Deep Sea Rush 6 promo, you get to visit six park attractions for PhP590. For their Ocean Madness 5 promo, entrance to five park attractions goes for PhP650. The Sea Breeze Express 11 offers access to 11 park attractions at PhP760, while the Marine Voyage 15 gives visitor entry to 15 amazing attractions for PhP995.
How to get there: From Makati Avenue, ride a bus bound for Taft Avenue/Lawton and alight at Rizal Park. From there, walk through Rizal Park until you reach Quirino Grandstand. Right behind it is Manila Ocean Park.
4. Mumuso Summer Sale 2018
Where: Participating Mumuso branches
Mumuso has more than 20 branches in the country, so you can take advantage of their summer sale on more locations nationwide.

Mumuso is a young but popular concept store from Korea that sells convenient and functional products at worthwhile prices. Their line of useful and quality products range from bluetooth devices to beauty and skincare kits. This summer, participating Mumuso branches nationwide are offering up to 40% discount on selected items, so waste no time and head on to a Mumuso store close to you!
How to get there: Head to any of the following participating Metro Manila branch nearest to you:

The Sneaker Box Manila FLASH Sale has a no reservation and a first come, first served rule so you better act fast to cop your new perfect pair.

Sneaker Box Manila, a small but formidable sneaker store in the heart of the metro, has a treat not just for the graduates but for every sneakerhead out there. Get as much as 20% discount on top styles from international brands such as Adidas NMD, Adidas UltraBOOST, and Jordans. What graduates can stake claim for, though, is a VIP Card which gives them a lifetime of discounts on all their purchases in the store if they present their diploma.
How to get there: From the MRT Ortigas station, walk towards Robinsons Galleria. From there, ride a jeepney bound to San Juan or an RRCG/G Liner bus to Quiapo and alight at Greenhills Shopping Center.
6. Mystery Manila’s Weekday Summer Sale

Mystery Manila is hailed as the country’s first ever live role-playing escape room game. Groups of players get to choose among mysteries, which will then take them to different locations filled with puzzles and riddles that they have to solve in 60 minutes or less. From March 19 to April 30, all of Mystery Manila’s branches will have a 30% discount on their registration fee. The promo is only valid from Mondays to Fridays, excluding holidays.
How to get there:
Century City Mall: From Baclaran, take a northbound bus (e.g. Cubao, Novaliches, etc.) and alight at Guadalupe. Cross the pedestrian bridge to reach the opposite road which is Bernardino Street. Ride a jeepney that has a signboard that reads “Ayala JP Rizal Makati Avenue Guad Ibabaw.” You will be transferred to another jeepney with the same sign when it reaches the terminal station. Alight at Makati Avenue corner Kalayaan. From there, you will be able to see Century Mall.
Jupiter Street: From Poblacion, Makati, ride a jeepney bound for Landmark. Alight at Hotel Durban and walk until you reach Polaris. Mystery Manila will be to your right.
JW Plaza Building: From Farmer’s Plaza, ride a jeepney bound for Libis and alight at Eastwood City. JW Plaza is walkable from there.
Ayala Malls The 30th: At the side of Shaw Boulevard along Shangri-La Plaza Mall, ride a jeepney destined for “Ugong.” Alight at the mall entrance which is right after St. Paul College.
7. SOGO Home & Office Center Summer Hot Fair
Where: All SOGO Home & Office Showrooms
If you need more flexible payment options, the packages are payable in 24 months.

SOGO Home & Office Center offers a variety of home and office furniture that balances functionality, versatility, and design. Their Summer Hot Fair, which runs from March 20 to June 18, offers different packages for different parts of the home and office for cheaper monthly installments. One example is their Full House Package which can be yours for as low as PhP1,931.91 a month, payable for 24 months, and their Space Saving Condo Package which goes for Php1,845.50 a month for 24 months. Buy one, get one items are also available on cash purchases.
How to get there: To get to the Ali Mall branch taking the LRT 2 line, alight at the Araneta – Cubao Station. Walk towards Smart Araneta Coliseum and take the exit at General Aguinaldo Avenue. Walk past Shopwise until you reach General McArthur Avenue corner Time Square Avenue and you will see Ali Mall.
8. Circuit Night Market
Where: Circuit Lane, Hippodromo Street, Makati
A free shuttle bus service with pick-up points all around Makati is also available.

For all weekends of April, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, an assortment of food stalls and clothing kiosks will be open for business in the Circuit Summer Night Market at Circuit Makati, one of the country’s most well-known night markets. Aside from the bazaars, market-goers also get to watch films at the pop-up cinema, race with friends in kart racing, and marvel at art in the Miracle Art Happyworld Museum.
How to get there: From the MRT Magallanes station, walk towards Pasong Tamo until you reach a jeepney terminal. Ride a jeepney with the “PRC” sign and alight at the end of its route. From there, you can either walk towards the Circuit Lane or ride a tricycle found within the area.
9. Sports Central’s Clearance Sale
Where: Megatrade Hall 2, SM Megamall
Sports Central’s clearance sale is conveniently located at SM Megamall, so there’s no excuse not to head to this sale.

Sports Central is an athletics store geared to bring you the best brands in sports footwear and athletic equipment to suit your active lifestyle. From April 11 to April 15, they will be having a clearance sale on different shoe wear brands such as Adidas, Nike, Sperry, New Balance, VANS, and many others, which now sells for as much as 80% off their original tag price.
How to get there: Take the MRT 3 line and alight at Shaw Boulevard Station. From there, you will be able to see SM Megamall.
10. Riverbank’s Center Anniversary Sale
Where: E-com Building, A. Bonifacio Avenue, Marikina City
Riverbanks Center also has an amphitheater which can accommodate 20,000 people where you can hang out with friends for a fun time.

Riverbanks Center has the biggest number of outlet stores in the metro, with more than twenty of the biggest local and international brands under one roof. For their anniversary sale happening this April 27 until April 30, booths will offer a discount of as much as 70% across all participating brands such as Michaela, Mossimo, Executive Optical, Bench, and so much more. Aside from huge discounts, the shopping center will also hold a Spin The Roleta (Spin the Wheel) game, where shoppers who have spent a minimum of PhP300 are entitled to a chance to win exclusive freebies such as gift certificates to big brands and free luggage carriers.
How to get there: From LRT 2 Katipunan station, ride a jeepney bound for either Calumpang, Parang Fortune or SSS Village. Alight at Riverbanks Center.
The weather’s getting hot but these sales are even hotter, so don’t waste another minute—write down your wishlist, grab a friend or two, and shop until you drop in these sales that you shouldn’t let pass you by!
