travel update Metro Manila

Cancelled flights are a hassle, but safety comes first as NAIA undergoes maintenance work on its runways.

In case you’re heading to Metro Manila this week, expect an ever-changing weather that will bring both sunshine and rain. This is easily manageable by bringing an umbrella the whole week. If you’re planning to travel from Metro Manila to several provinces by plane, make sure to check if your flight is affected by the transition of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to a new air traffic management system.

Weather: A mix of rain and sun

The weather for the whole week would be a mix of rainy and sunny. The first days of the week are anticipated to be sunnier, but the latter part would be rainy. Temperature would range from 31 to 33 °C during the day and 23 to 25 °C at night [1]. Always bring an umbrella while travelling the whole week and check the news for weather updates.

Passengers who have flights on these dates can check the announcements from their respective airlines.
