The Bureau of Immigration has announced that effective April 1, 2024, it will no longer issue arrival stickers to Filipino passengers who utilize airport e-gates at all international ports of entry.
The Bureau of Immigration clarified that they will now send the arrival confirmation via the passenger's email address in the eTravel system. This will allow passengers to receive confirmation quickly and conveniently without queueing. However, if the passengers still prefer a physical stamp on their passport, they can request one from the Immigration Officer assigned to e-gates.
To make the travel process smoother and more efficient, passengers must register on the eTravel system at least 72 hours before departure. This will help to expedite the process and ensure a hassle-free travel experience.
