The local government of Coron announced last April 27 that the area is free from COVID-19 after two infected patients recovered from the virus. The two patients were in the municipality’s isolation facility and were sent home where they can continue their 7-day home quarantine. In Coron Information Office’s official Facebook page, the Coron LGU thanked the cooperation of the municipal IATF, EOC, municipal health office, contact tracers, frontliners, and security. Residents were also lauded for following the standard health protocols .
