Gone are the days when Kapampangans (natives of Pampanga) still had to go to Metro Manila for shopping, which even then was a rare experience for most.

Pampanga has kept up with urbanization over the years, so shopping centers have sprouted up throughout the province. Here is a list of the largest shopping malls in Pampanga, which not only sell items but also provide customers with a complete lifestyle experience. 1. SM City Clark

Where: M.A. Roxas Avenue in Clark Freeport, Angeles City in Pampanga, Philippines

SM City Clark opened its doors to Kapampangans in May 2006 and has become a lifestyle and business hub over the past 17 years. The Park Hotel by Radisson Clark opened its doors in 2015 inside the mall complex in Pampanga, contributing to the favorable impressions that may be had of the malls in Pampanga. This mall in Clark Pampanga in 2013 expanded with a new food court and offices that house various Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and IT-related companies.

Aside from its more than 300 shops and dining establishments , it also features a bowling center and an IMAX Theatre. It is an 8-story, 154-room hotel that serves local and international tourists.


2. SM City Pampanga

Where: Jose Abad Santos Avenue, City of San Fernando, Pampanga

The first Central Luzon SM Supermall, SM City Pampanga opened in November 2000. Kapampangans may enjoy SM Mall shopping with Sky Ranch at this mall. Sky Ranch is exclusive to SM City Pampanga and cannot be found in other malls in Pampanga. It features a total of 22 different rides, one of which is the Pampanga Eye, which stands 65 meters tall and has a circumference of 50 meters. It is widely acknowledged as the country’s largest and most eye-catching Ferris wheel attraction.


3. Robinsons Place Angeles

Where: Mac Arthur Highway, Balibago, Angeles City

Robinsons Place Angeles is a nearby mall in Clark Pampanga and the second Robinsons Mall in the province. Its location is very accessible and convenient for students and church-goers. The three-level mall is not as spacious as Robinsons Starmills and other shopping malls in Pampanga in the province. It has the right mix of stores and services, as well as a supermarket and department store.

It also houses micro retail outlets of clothes, fashion accessories, and ukay-ukay shops (thrift stores) that sell pre-loved clothes, bags, and shoes. Satellite offices for some government institutions and some public services of the Angeles City government are also available here.



4. Newpoint Mall

Newpoint Mall is the newest addition to the shopping malls in Pampanga. It opened in September 2016 and features a food court with several different fast food and sit-down restaurant. Modern Kapampangan touches include Lubenas parol (lantern) in ceiling decorations. Salangi Ko Pu (May you be enlightened) is inscribed in Kulitan on the entrances and columns.

Newpoint Mall is a nearby mall in Clark Pampanga located at the heart of Angeles City in a 14-story building. It occupies three and a half floors, while the rest are for parking and offices.


5. Robinsons Starmills

Robinson Starmills Pampanga provides spacious outdoor and indoor venue perfect for Kapampangan cultural events.


Robinsons Starmills is conveniently located directly opposite SM City Pampanga. This province refers to it as the shopping mall in Pampanga, where you can identify outlet stores for well-known local and international brands . Its distinctive architectural style makes it a stunning building as you pass by the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

The three-level mall has several culinary options, entertainment venues, service facilities, and outlet retailers. It is also the regular venue of Pampanga’s major cultural events like the Sinukwan and Giant Lantern festivals.




6. Puregold Duty Free Clark

Where: Claro M Recto Hwy, Clark Freeport, Pampanga

Located inside the Clark Freeport Zone, Puregold Duty Free is a place to shop from a wide selection of imported grocery, food, apparel and household items.

Prior to the development of large shopping malls in Pampanga, Puregold Duty Free Clark was one of the major shopping malls in Clark Pampanga Kapampangans and even shoppers coming from the nearby provinces and in Metro Manila.

Years after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, the Clark Special Economic Zone—later renamed the Clark Freeport Zone—was established. Along with it came various establishments, casinos, and duty-free shops, including Puregold Duty Free. It offers imported grocery items, apparel, bags, cosmetics , home essentials , bed and bath amenities, and kitchenware.


7. S&R Dau and San Fernando

One of the malls in Pampanga with two branches; one in Dau, Mabalacat, and one in the City of San Fernando. Kapampangans now also experience being in a membership-shopping club with the establishment of S&R in the province. S&R is patterned after the warehouse membership shopping chains were introduced in the United States.

The store has a large selection of high-quality domestic and imported goods . Customers must first obtain a one-year membership at a low cost before they can shop here. Aside from the unique shopping experience, Cabalens return to S&R for its delectable pizza, burgers, and desserts.





8. Marquee Mall

Marquee Mall is part of malls in Clark Pampanga that bring the Ayala shopping experience to Kapampangans. It is the first and only Ayala Mall in Pampanga, consisting of foreign and local brand shops, coffee shops, and restaurants serving the best of Kapampangan cuisine, as well as international food and other recreation and entertainment facilities.

The mall has government satellite offices. Gold’s Gym also opened a branch here. Also situated within the mall complex is Marquee Residences , a mid-rise residential condominium.
