To warn residents ahead of the upcoming All Saints Day and All Souls Day, the municipality of Subic Zambales released a visitation schedule guideline for residents. In their Facebook, last October 19, the Subic Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) released an advisory that indicates all public and private cemeteries will be closed from October 29 to November 2, 2021.
In addition to the closure, Subic MDRMO also indicated a set of visitation schedules that residents must follow. The public is allowed to visit their deceased loved ones before or after the closing week. All cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbariums will be open from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Barangays will also schedule visitations. The following are the Undas schedules in Subic per barangay:
All visitors are must follow basic health protocols like proper physical distancing, wearing face shields, and face masks. A “no mask, no entry” protocol will be in effect as well. Cemeteries will also only allow visitors up to 30% of their capacity. Quarantine passes might also be required to check if visitors are indeed from the areas scheduled for visitations.
Subic, along with other areas in the Philippines, closed its cemeteries from the public to lessen the spread of COVID-19 infections among residents.
