Weather and Traffic

The lowest temperature is 24°C while the highest is 32°C. Most of the week will be sunny except for Saturday with chance of little rain. There are no major events this week that can affect traffic.

Tourists who are looking to stay in Tagaytay during weekdays can take advantage of 20% discount for bookings from Monday to Thursday at Estancia Resort Hotel, located along Tagaytay-Calamba Road.

Hotel Kimberly offers 10% Early Bird Discount to travelers who book at the hotel at least 21 days in advance. Located on Amadeo Road, the hotel is also accessible to many of Tagaytay’s attractions.

Beach Resorts

Tourists who would like to go for a swim or soak in a Jacuzzi after a chill day in Tagaytay can head to Piña Colina Resort. This affordable hideaway resort is situated on Tolentino-Ulat Road, accessible via Tagaytay-Sta. Rosa Road. Their lowest room rate is Php 2,400.00 which includes free use of the pool.

Among Tagaytay’s various delicacies such as kakanin and tawilis, perhaps the most sought after is a hot bowl of Bulalo. When one deviates from the frontline of fancy restaurants, a more humble strip of stalls and eateries at Mahogany Market along Mahogany Avenue will unveil. Each eatery serves its own kind of bulalo at varied prices.

For those who crave for other local dishes besides Bulalo, Pamana restaurant offers a variety of specially concocted Filipino dishes passed on from the owner’s family and friends. This fine dining restaurant boasts its Native Salads and Greens and Heritage dishes ranging from Php 200.00 to Php 600.00.

Sky Ranch, Tagaytay’s amusement park that houses one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the country, has just opened its new attractions. In addition to Sky Eye and several other rides, Sky Ranch now has Log Coaster and Drop Tower for thrill-seekers and Safari Splash, Lobster Pot, and High Striker for those who just want to take it lightly. Entrance fee is Php 80.00 on weekdays and Php 100.00 on weekends while each ride costs Php 50.00 to Php 150.00.

Panoramic view restaurants

Tourists cannot miss the head-turning panoramic view of Taal Volcano while dining at Restaurant Verbena, located at Discovery Country Suites along Tagaytay-Calamba Road. Herb Marinated Mushrooms and Arugula, Seared Chilean Bass and Surf and Turf, Black Truffle Risotto, Steak, and Chocolate cake are some of the award-winning restaurant’s must-tries.

Sightseeing tips

Tourists staying overnight in Tagaytay can wake up early to catch a majestic scene of the sunrise with Taal Volcano on the foreground. Sightseers, with their comfiest jacket on and a camera in hand, usually stand by at the back of Starbucks Coffee Shop along Aguinaldo Highway.
