Good news! Tourists from NCR Plus are now allowed to visit Subic for leisure purposes approved by Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF). Keep in mind that minimum health protocols are still in place to improve public safety. Also, the negative antigen test is no longer required for 18 to 65 years old. However, it’s a requirement for those below 18 and above 65 years old—even for passengers who will pass through. Social distancing and wearing face masks and shields should strictly follow in resorts and various tourist attractions. Guests are not required to submit negative antigen or swab tests as long as the group is families living in the same household. Guests are also required to fill out contact tracing forms and have their temperature checked.

In addition, resorts are strictly enforced to limit the number of guests. For example, resorts should only accept a maximum of 20 to 30% of their usual capacity. Hotels for staycations are now also allowed to operate. Hotel facilities should be thoroughly disinfected, and alcohol stations are placed all over the vicinity.

NCR Plus areas include Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite.
