It is the largest organ and the outermost cover of our bodies, so it is exposed to several harmful elements such as pollution and the sun’s rays. Applying sunscreen is one of the essential steps to protect the skin, but most only remember to add it to their skin care routine during the summer when it should be a must regardless of the season if you want healthy and glowing skin.
Sunscreen is also important since staying under the sun without protection can lead to sunspots (visible dark discolorations due to hyperpigmentation), rapid skin aging, scarring for those with photosensitive disorders, and sunburns and blisters. Skipping sunscreen can also bring out wrinkles because the ultraviolet rays (UV) can damage your skin’s connective tissues and collagen. Severe cases might even lead to skin cancer.

They are a great substitute for foundation for those who still want to wear makeup this summer. 5. Face Republic Super Screen Sun Gel SPF 50+

Face Republic just launched their brand at the country last year.
Face Republic might not yet be a familiar name, but this newcomer offers quite affordable products within its arsenal. One of which is the Super Screen Sun Gel SPF 50+. The high-level SPF shields skin from both UVA and UVB. It also prevents breakout as it goes well with oily skin thanks to its grease-free and lightweight gel formula. Since staying under the sun can leave the skin feeling hot afterwards, this sun gel has a cooling and nourishing effect through its antibacterial eucalyptus leaf extract.
