Meanwhile, flight cancellations due to weather might occur, so travelers are also advised to keep themselves updated.

Metro Manila skies would be consistently cloudy this week. Along with dark clouds, thunderstorms in the afternoon are also expected and may continue throughout the evening. DOTR and LTFRB unveils new public commuter bus

The Department of Transportation (DOTR) and the Land Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) launched the new set of modern public utility buses last September 8. These buses are designed to take on city routes, long-haul trips, and point-to-point operations. DOTR stated that comfortable and convenient buses can be a great solution to the worsening traffic condition of the city, as commuters are encouraged to ride buses instead of using their private vehicles.

Some of the features of the modern buses include full air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, CCTV monitoring, wide legroom, automatic fare collection system, dashcam, and a ramp for persons with disabilities. For long-haul trips, included features are refrigerators, lavatory, toilets, and even mini TVs behind every seat [2]. Prices, routes, and trip schedules are yet to be announced.

Cavite to Manila P2P routes now available

Two new Point-To-Point (P2P) routes from Cavite to Makati and vice versa are now operational. The two new Cavite-based routes are Dasmarinas to Makati and Bacoor to Makati. Both routes operate from Mondays to Fridays. The Dasmarinas-to-Makati route starts at 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, while the one from Bacoor to Makati starts at 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Drop-off points include San Lorenzo Place in Makati, Vista Mall Daang Hari in Bacoor, and Carmella Dasmarinas Highway in Dasmarinas. The one-way fare for the Bacoor-to-Makati route is at PhP110 while Dasmarinas to Makati costs PhP150. Both trips would be using the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway and Skyway [3].
