Another very accessible newly-opened restaurant in Makati is Bench Café. Located at Greenbelt 3, Bench Café is an ideal place for big groups with its Filipino favorite menu offerings. Don’t think that the resto only presents the usual Pinoy meals, however, as it is known to put fresh twists on old-time classics.

Take for example its innovative Tinapa Cones or Kornets which is bite-sized tinapa (smoked fish) enclosed into a spring roll wrapper with tomatoes and onions. Another delectable treat is the Dancing Fish: a whole fried Tilapia paired with three different sauces. The twist comes in the meal’s presentation with the fish laid out artistically.

Makati is always buzzing with new places to go, things to try, and places to eat at—these restaurants being a few good examples. Be on the lookout because in no time, there’ll be even more places to treat your palate to.
