Emergency drill at Bacolod-Silay airport is set on Nov. 9
Aiming to test the airport’s capability in responding to plane crash, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) will set an emergency exercise at the Bacolod-Silay Airport on November 9. Different agencies, sectors and groups will be part of the multi-agency emergence exercise. Also involved are airport authorities, aircraft operators, medical service units, government authorities, civil defense units, military, volunteer rescue organizations among others. During the emergency exercise, the airport runway will be closed from 8 a.m. to 12 noon . Flights that are affected have been rescheduled for the emergency exercise.
