Traffic News: Another peso fare hike on jeepney and bus fare eyed

Another peso fare hike is eyed on jeepney and bus fare by transportation groups. The said petition, however, may possibly have a delay in implementation since the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) needs to consult with other government agencies like the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). Heads up for travelers and local commuters, since adjustments for another fare hike might be implemented soon. However, there are also chances of lowering the fare if the prices of crude in the world market will go back to normal [2].
