Ghouls and gals! We have something for you and your kids to enjoy this Halloween season. Family-friendly Halloween events in Bacolod with a good scare are just lurking around the corner. From hunting goody bags to finding Nemo, these fun Halloween events in Bacolod got everything for your adventurous little monster. So prepare a horrifyingly cute costume for your kid and find your way to any these Halloween activities. Read down below and find out when and where to have a boo-time!


1. Shriektober at Ayala Malls Capitol Central

Where: Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Gatuslao St., Bacolod City
When: October 25 to 31, 2019
Ticket price: Free

Dress up as your favorite hero and save the lost cartoon characters from Cartoon Network.

This spooktacular extravaganza will let your kids be the hero of the day. The adrenaline-filled Skriektober event hosted by Ayala Malls will have prizes and goody bags for the little heroes. Kids get to fight crime with the Power Puff Girls, Ben 10, We Bare Bears and even find and save lost classic cartoon friends like Scooby-Doo, Dexter, Johnny Bravo, Courage, and many more! Don’t forget your kid’s capes and super suits!

Tip for a good experience: The Ayala Mall group is also hosting a contest. To join, all you have to do is find four unique Cartoon Network installations in any Ayala Malls, take your most creative selfie with them, then upload the four photos on Instagram. Remember to tag Cartoon Network Asia’s account and use required hashtags!



How to go to Ayala Malls Capitol Central: Find a Homesite-Central Market jeepney if you are from the east area, then get off at Jollibee Gatuslao near 888 Chinatown Premier. Wait for a Mandalagan-Libertad jeepney and ask to be dropped off in front of Ayala Mall Capitol Central. Then, cross the road to get to the main entrance of the mall. Proceed to the information desk near the entrance and ask for directions to the event.


2. Monstertacular Halloween at SM City Bacolod

Where: SM City, Rizal St., Reclamation Area, Bacolod City
When: October 28 to 31, 2019
Prices:
Trick or Treating: Free
Costume contest: PhP1,000 single or accumulated receipt purchases from any SM establishment (within the registration period only)

Monstertacular Halloween presents four days of various fun activities for children.

This four-day Halloween event hosted by SM City Bacolod is packed with exciting activities for your kids. For one, you can get loose and groove with the zombie mob dance. And if your kid is “too cute to spook,” enter him or her in the costume contest during the last day of the event and get a chance to win prizes. Even pets won’t get left behind: a Fur-rific Costume Contest will be held, so let your furbaby strut down the aisle in its tiny outfit.

Tip for a better experience: The trick or treating activity is free for children ages 12 and below. You just have to bring your own trick-or-treat baskets. Meanwhile, the registration for the costume contest is at the Main Atrium, Northwing of SM City Bacolod from October 22 to 28, 2019.



How to go to SM City Bacolod: If you are located at the east area, ride a jeepney with either a Fortune Towne-Central Market or Homesite-Central Market route and ask to be dropped off at the SM City Bacolod North Wing entrance. Note that the events have different specific venues within the mall. Please check SM City Bacolod’s Facebook page for more details.


3. Trick or Treat Halloween at 888 Chinatown Square

Where: 888 Chinatown Mall, Chinatown Square Premier, Gatuslao St., Bacolod City
When: October 29, 2019
Ticket price: PhP200

Boo! Give the audiences a good scare and come in your daunting costume.

Awesome prizes await the contestants with the scariest costume for this party. Let your children float like ghosts, cover them up like mummies, or dress them up as zombies to win prizes and have them trick or treat their way through the stores. Trick or Treat Halloween is exclusive only for children ages four to ten.

Tip for a better experience: You can register your child by filling out the form found at the information counter of 888 Chinatown Premier Mall.



How to go to 888 Chinatown Premier Mall: If you are from North Ceres Terminal, find a Bata-Libertad PUV located at the right side of the terminal. Ask the driver to drop you off at 888 Chinatown Premier. Once you arrive at the entrance, find the information desk located at the back of the escalator.


4. Ghostly Gathering at Lopue’s East Centre

Where: Porch A and B, 3rd floor, Lopue’s East Centre, Burgos-Circumferential Road, Bacolod City
When: October 30 to 31, 2019
Ticket price: PhP180

Give your kids a phantom experience in Ghostly Gathering! Let them come in their most adorable scary costume and win some prizes. There will also be a photo booth in the event—perfect for photo-ops with the little spook. Expect games for the kids to enjoy and the most awaited event: trick or treating. Your child will definitely be in for a sugar rush!

Tip for a better experience: Since the event will be held on two days, you can choose the date which works better for you and buy a ticket for that day. Tickets will be available at Fun Party located on the third floor of Lopue’s East Centre.



How to go to Lopue’s East Centre: From North Ceres Terminal, find a Bangga Pepsi-NGC PUV located on the right side of the bus terminal. Get off at Lopue’s East Centre’s entrance located in front of Savemore Supermarket. Take the elevator and proceed to the third floor. Then, turn right to find Porch A and B.

5. Villains Bash at L’Fisher Hotel

Where: L’Fisher Hotel, 14th Lacson St., Bacolod City
When: October 31, 2019

In Villains Bash, you can let your child dress up as their favorite antagonist from movies; they can let their claws out, fangs down, and slay to win some prizes! This family-friendly event will have kids hopping from all the candies, games, and fun!

How to go to L’Fisher Hotel: If you are coming from Bacolod Public Plaza, find a Bata-Libertad PUV in front of Dunkin Donuts located along Gatuslao Street. Ask the driver to drop you off in front of L’Fisher Hotel. Cross the road, then enter the main entrance of the hotel. You can ask the information desk the way to La Proa Main and 1.
