Now that the cold season has come, the appetite for steaming hot bowls can be undeniably strong.

When the country first went under the enhanced community quarantine, Filipinos resorted to store-bought noodles to satisfy their cravings. Luckily this shouldn’t have to be the case anymore, as there is a Japanese restaurant situated along one of the major streets in Bacolod that is ready to serve diners with more care. Despite the pandemic, Nezu Restaurant warmly welcomes its diners with various Japanese signature dishes. And to ensure not only the satisfaction but also the safety of customers, Nezu Restaurant also has strict health protocols in place. Inside the restaurant customers are greeted with wooden beams and polished concrete floors that give a homey and modern feel. Behind the staff’s face masks are friendly and accommodating smiles that reflect the warmth of Japanese hospitality. On Nezu’s menu are various specialties, but the restaurant’s signature Miso Ramen is a dish not to be missed. To fully enjoy the Japanese dining experience, try the rice bowls, sushi options, and tarts. The matcha cheesecake tart is a notable recommendation, as it is the restaurant’s bestseller, too.



Safety Protocols of Nezu

Following the new normal measures in Bacolod City, Nezu restaurant operates everyday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The restaurant also puts the safety of its customers and staff by implementing the following safety measures:

• A “No Face Mask, No Entry” policy is observed in the restaurant.
• Temperature screening, hand sanitizing, and providing contact information should be done by the customers upon entry.
• The staff are equipped with proper personal protective equipment such as face masks and face shields.
• Seating capacity is reduced to 50% and tables are spaced far enough to practice social distancing among customers.
• Thorough disinfection is done regularly in between customers.
