Traffic is generally light in Vigan City but may turn heavy every just before 8:00 AM and right after 5:00 PM as these are the start and end of office and school hours respectively.

Several streets such as Quezon Avenue and parallel streets follow a one-way scheme from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Travelers and motorists can be guided by the signs at street corners.

A visit to Shrine of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad and its belfry known as Bantay Bell Tower may be done early in the morning as it tends to be hot and humid in the afternoon, if not with thunderstorms. Beside the bell tower, another sight to see is the Chapel by the Ruins which is also just beside the main Church.
