This new and fully-equipped Tourist Rest Area promises an enhanced tourism experience for Pagudpud tourists.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) recently launched the seventh Tourist Rest Area (TRA) in the country at Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. This new tourism facility marks a significant milestone as the first TRA in Northern Luzon, enhancing the tourism experience for visitors to this picturesque region.
The new TRA aims to provide tourists with a comfortable and convenient place to rest and rejuvenate in Pagudpud.
It features modern amenities to ensure visitors' pleasant and hassle-free tourism experience. These include clean restrooms equipped with showers, providing a refreshing stop for travelers. Lactation rooms are also available for nursing mothers, offering a comfortable and private space.
The new Tourism Rest Area has mother-baby and PWD-friendly facilities.

The new Tourist Rest Area also includes multiple charging stations, allowing visitors to keep their electronic devices powered up, and for those looking to relax and grab a bite, there is a café serving a variety of refreshments.
Additionally, a pasalubong center offers a selection of local souvenirs and products, making it easy for tourists to bring home a piece of their visit. Information centers are staffed with personnel ready to assist with inquiries, ensuring tourists can easily access the information they need about local attractions and services.
