Cocoloco Boracay Beach Resort ticks all the right boxes for a laid-back getaway in the island. Hidden in Boracay’s Station 3, the tropical resort prides itself in rooms and suites that blend rustic elements with warm interiors. Its spacious rooms feature simple yet tastefully picked furniture, cozy beds and linens, and minimalist bathrooms. Room rates range from PhP2,790 to PhP5,793 per night. All rooms—save the Superior Room with a view of the sea from the balcony—have air-conditioning systems. Guests will also have free access to WiFi and can choose between a garden view or sea view.

Nothing gives off island vibes more than the resort’s restaurant. Adorned with bamboo furniture, the restaurant also has a second floor made out of wood, serving the best of a tropical and native ambiance. Meanwhile at the back of the resort is a garden which serves as a great place to cool down after sunbathing on the beach.

Observing the standards set by the Department of Health for reopening establishments, Cocoloco Boracay Beach Resort executes strict guidelines to keep staff and guests safe. In addition to measures such as physical distancing and wearing of face masks, the resort went the extra mile with the following protocols:

• There is a protective barrier at the resort’s front desk. Also in the lobby area are safety reminders and digital infographics which encourage staff and guests to be mindful of the rules.
• Disinfection mats are placed on key locations such as entrances to the restaurant, lobby, and selected rooms.
• Areas for hand washing are also situated in the resort to ensure proper hygiene among guests and staff.
• The resort separates garbage bins for trash and for personal protective equipment (PPE) with labels.
• Guests are required to book an online reservation on the resort’s website. Monetary transactions will be done online as well.

Before arriving at the resort, make sure to fill out health declaration forms and secure transactions to avoid difficulties. As long as eager travelers go by the rules, staying in this tropical paradise amid this pandemic will still be safe.
